Bedlam Management have confirmed that Hayley will appear in concert at the Victoria Halls in Stoke-on-Trent on Friday 8th June. It has been reported on the official forum that this event is to raise money for Hayley's 'Bikes for Ghana' appeal. The event does not yet appear on the Victoria Hall website but apparently tickets are being sold. The Box Office phone number is 0870 060 6649. Roger

I can confirm that tickets are indeed on sale for this event. I booked my ticket earlier this afternoon and have secured AA14 Front Row Centre Isle!
Tickets are £20 + a £2.50 booking fee and the concert starts at 8pm.
See you there

Hi Grant
The guy in the box office said today that he had only sold one ticket so far ---- to you in AA14! Hope you were not expecting a private performance from Hayley. If you were, I am sorry to inform you we have booked four tickets. AA 10-13. So you have some company now! Look forward to meeting with you again.
Best wishes,
George

Hi George
Delighted to hear that you will be joining me at this concert!!
Funny though, when I asked how tickets were going, the guy on the 'phone said "OK" He even offered me tickets on Row D - 8 rows back!!
Incidentally, my ticket arrived this morning and it is endorsed "In aid of UNICEF Bikes for Ghana"
Grant
P.S Check out the Gawsworth Hall concert thread!!

Hi Grant, You may have been offered tickets on Row D as the stage is very high at the Victoria Hall and some poeple dont like having to look upwards at the singers. The event has not started to be publicised in the local area yet, which is why the event hasnt sold many tickets yet, but once the event is advertised the venue are expecting quite a rush on tickets. Ive got my tickets in the circle. Danny

Is it possible to be too close to Hayley? The guy offered us Row C to start with so may be it is true that we will be looking up to Hayley! Oh Well! Look forward to meeting you, Gordon.

Hi Grant, George, Gordon... Is it obligatory to have a name starting with G to attend this concert? I have never been to Stoke-on-Trent so I will be travelling up at around midday. I'll take a look around the area in the afternoon, checking into my hotel in Trinity Street any time after 4pm. If I have nothing better to do, I might pop into the concert in the evening! Otherwise, D14 will be empty. See you there, folks! Roger-with-a-G. The G is not only silent, it is also invisible!

Sorry, Danny, I missed your post (it's because you haven't got a G!). First of all, welcome to the forum. Please make yourself known to us on the night. I look forward to seeing you.

Hi Roger, Can i take it that from trinity street you mean your staying in the quality hotel? You might not be aware that stoke-on-trent railway station is a good bus ride away from Hanley, which is where the concert hall and your hotel are located, i think you should find stoke an interesting area and hope that you find things to keep you entertained.

George Hi George I don't think you can ever be too close to Hayley - the closer the better I say!! I guessed there might be a high stage, hence the reason for offering seats further back but I don't think it will be a problem. In any event I think Hayley has very nice feet Grant

Hi Roger, Danny and all
Great to hear your venturing up north for this one Roger. Perhaps Danny could suggest a reasoanble eatery and we could meet up for a bite before the concert?

I can indeed suggest a suitable eatery. Although it does entirely depend on the type of thing you are looking for. Festival Park contains all your national chain restaurants but im guessign your looking for something more classy. The cultural quarter, which is where the cocnert hall and theatre are, is teeming wiht little restaurants and cafes suitable for your custom. I shall have a scout around next time i visit the cultural quarter and let you all know of a few nice places to eat.
