I second that, Mark. Have fun at the concert, guys. Is anyone going to Fiona's solo concert in Chichester on July 12?

Enjoy the concert you lucky folks! Oh, and please, beg Hayley for me to sing 'Dulaman' at Shepherds Bush. That should give her enough time to practice! If she sings this at Chichester, I will be very jealous Best wishes, Stephany

... And so, as another spectacular evening draws to a close, here are a few pictures I took in Chichester less than two hours ago. With seven HWI members present, I am sure many more photos and reports will follow. "But what did she sing?" Okay, I'll tell you! HayleyAve Maria (Cacchini) The Water Is Wide Scarborough Fair Fiona PearsTchavolo Swing Far Away Memories of Marttin and Mary HayleyOne Fine Day Prayer Danny Boy INTERVAL Fiona PearsTangissimo Cinema Paradiso Hava Nagila HayleyPokarekare Ana Shenandoah Summer Fly Let Me Lie Santa Lucia In Trutina May It Be ENCORE Amazing Grace 2nd ENCORE Sonny That is 15 songs from Hayley! I need to check my records but I believe that is the most I have ever heard her do in one evening. Roger

Thank You Roger, What a "wish I'd been there" concert that was.!!!! Would have fulfilled anybody's wish list. Have only just finished watching West side story clips. A good injection of HW for the day. Looking forward to the remaining offerings....Many thanks in advance. Graeme

Beautiful!! I wanno know one thing: why is Hayley wearing the same two dresses (green and black) in all her concerts this month?? Is it because it's a tour and she has to uniform it? Or does she just love those dresses? :2fun: Dori

Sonny, Sonny, Sonny! Hi flip, Yes, we kept on and on and on and ON with the applause and they couldn't stop us! Someone (who, me?) even started some foot stamping up in the 'gods' (a high balcony at the back of the cathedral) 'coz we weren't going to miss the second encore as happened at Grassington (I think) And wow, yes, we got Sonny, fabulous!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifUp in the gods you say? Well yes, three of us were so far back in the region of row 40 that successful photography would have been impossible. One of the three was me... and the other two were our illustrious official photographers Stuart and Steve! So we 'blagged' our way up onto that cold stone balcony... high above the chandeliers (as you will see in some of the shots) and we ended up sitting among some of the clergy and in front of the lighting technician. We had to keep our heads out of his way and still somehow get photos round the sides of the huge chandeliers. But apart from one snatched shot, we didn't get going until the second half (in spite of the lighting man telling us that photography had been barred by "Hayley's people". We couldn't believe that, so we ignored him I know Steve and Stuart got some good photos from the balcony in part two and they will probably start to appear late on Tuesday (UK time) so in the meantime you'll have to make do with a couple of photos I managed to grab... complete with intruding chandelier! Steve and Stuart had better positions though, so theirs w should be good, even though we were around 40 rows back from the stage and the lighting was appallingly [glow=black,3,400] yellow![/glow] So, the one photo that any of us have, I think, of the first half... a white dress that Steve and I didn't recognise... is a very poor one by normal standards, it started life as bright yellow and this cannot be corrected fully. So I've made two versions: one with faded yellow and the other in black and white (white is the actual dress colour) and perhaps some of you will be able to tell us if it is in fact new. The third photo is one I took as Hayley received her flowers right at the end of the concert; the best one I managed... but the best is yet to come from Steve and Stuart! Hayley's dress in part 1 - yucky colour version and black and white version (the dress is white!) Hayley with flowers at the end, after a job well done! Cheers, Dave
