Hi Stephany I know - its hard to believe - I still wonder if Hayley was planning to sing Sonny, or if the request from the audience at Porthcawl went down so very well, she decided to include it as an encore for future shows Thanks for part 2 Grant, as usual, you tell it so well its like I was there ! When I spoke to Hayley about how clear and rich her voice sounded she commented that she has had a nasty cold since the weekend, perhaps that helped?Fiona Pears, an artist who I becoming very keen to see again and again Hayley spots me in the crowd, and says "Hello Steve" Hayley and Grant, (Hayley knows who where to look, shame about Grant) Steve H

Grant, you should follow Hayley's example! I love the picture where she spots you, Steve. Great smile!

Hi everyone! It was great to meet up with everyone again last night. Here are some pictures. During the concert we were a good 40 rows backand the camera zoom was stretched to the limit. Stuart

Hayley is presented with flowers and the musicians get a bottle of something! Fiona entertains the audience with some wonderful music

After the event, Hayley signed CDs and chated to a small crowd of fans before she joined us. Stuart

Hi Stuart and everyone, Stuart's camera zoom may have been stretched to the limit, but this picture gives a very good view of the entire set. My point being, would anyone realise that this is anything other than a traditional concert venue? Unlike the "churches" tour in 2005, not only was the sound system excellent, but there was even some very good lighting. I must mention that this particular event was particularly meaningful to me as it was the first time I had seen Hayley in the county of West Sussex (see the location in my profile!). Roger

My thanks to everyone for their reports and pictures from last night. I think it quite amazing that Hayley always seems to know which camera to look at in portrait shots.
When I booked my ticket I was given the impression that I would be in a raised seating area only to find that 'raised' meant one step only. I was nearly at the back of the cathedral so my view was not wonderful. The couples sitting either side of me were however very freindly and were very impressed wtih my explanation of the origins of the tie I was wearing. When it came to the chance of a second encore I urged them to clap as louldly as possible, which they did with great gusto.
For a cathedral I thought the sound quality was very good and Hayley certainly gave one of the best performances I have seen with 'Sonny' being the icing on the cake.
Best Wishes to All.
Gordon
