As this is fairly general information, I will post it in the News board for now. When more specific details are know, I am sure it will appear in the Media and Concerts boards as appropriate. Hayley is scheduled to be in New Zealand following the conclusion of the Celtic Woman tour to promote her CD. This indicates that it is likely to be released in NZ at around that time. She will also be doing a concert tour of New Zealand in September 2007. At least that is a little sooner than you thought, Belinda! Roger

If i can just manage Christchurch in her home town her home town hall and amongst her own folk, that alone will do me fine! Peter S.

When is the CW tour over Belinda NZ Hi Belinda, I don't know as I haven't seen the schedule yet. It doesn't even appear on the CW website yet so perhaps it is still being arranged. Roger

It's an awfully long way to go for just one concert Peter! Even though it will probably be "The best concert in the world ever!" I still hope to be able to make it, though I would have preferred January 2008, might be a struggle to get finances sorted out by September 2007 I'm hoping to stay for a few weeks and hopefully pull in several of Hayley's concerts whilst I'm there as well as sample Christchurch's trams and other delights of South Island. That's if I can find some budget accommodation!! Maybe Belinda will be able to offer a few suggestions? Grant

Apart from day-to-day necessities (such as keeping in touch with this board) It may seem plenty of time but... it is a heck of an organisation that is needed, especially as I was thinking on having an extra six months to plan. Having a passport would be helpful! Unless it has re-opened (the computer crashed) you can't renew on the web any more. I obtained the forms some time back (as you can't attempt to gain entry to the States with less than six months to run on your passport!) but I haven't done anything more since! That would be a good starting point! At least i did drop into NZ house and have some backround literature to read up and I retained my membership of Wexas. That may or may not be helpful, but i could dump organisation onto them to save me some hassle. Peter S.

That's if I can find some budget accommodation!! Maybe Belinda will be able to offer a few suggestions? Grant At the moment the whole shebang is a blank canvas for me. My thoughts are three to four weeks over there, using a camper-van, taking in North Island as well. Obviously, were she to do what she did last time, the flow of her concert nights ties-in with a not too rapid movement round various locations one would wish to visit anyway. That's stage one, perhaps including one or two decent hotels for a couple of nights once a week to really sort out washing, recoup respectability etc. Stage 2 is going there and coming back. I had an earlier vague idea about a tramp streamer and taking in Aus as well. I am more likely to treat Aus as a second trip basedon on flying/train, rather than driving. Peter S.

Remember the chat room tonight under the Christmas Tree. Peter S. Can't do the chat tonight Peter, I have visitors arriving in about 20 minutes. Thanks for the info about Belinda's web site - will certainly check it out. I'm in London on 15th December so will pop into NZ House if I get the chance - also going to look at the NZ Monument 'Southern Stand'. Enjoy the chat "all who enter in"! Grant

Hi everyone
I am so pleased for you Belinda, Marrianne, Rodders and whoever else I have left out over on your side of the world - you know who you are ! I am at present trying to work out if I can make it to NZ now it is earlier. Its only a problem in as much that we were going to bring our daughter with us and she will only just have started the new school year. Of course it depends when in September Hayley be performing. - and I guess the trip could be considered educational !
I will start to plan now in anycase. Really hope to be able to meet you all.
Best wishes
Mark.

hello everybody [he says brushing aside some cobwebs]
september seems so far away .. is anybody considering making a radical detour to hamilton?. after all, travelling around the world for just one concert seems strange in the context of going to every concert in you own backyard [so to speak].

Boy what an opportunity, though it might depend upon how old she is, perhaps. Peter S.
