Hi Richard, Thomas & Elizabeth! My ticket arrived this morning and I was surprised that it simply shows 'Royal Philharmonic Orchestra' as the performers - no mention of "Different Voices"! I am going to the 2.30 performance. Thomas -It hadn't dawned on me that it will actually BE Hayley's birthday in New Zealand - that's brilliant Elizabeth - you should come! Although I believe Hayley is only singing once, hopefully we will have a chance to meet up with at some point and I guess it could also turn into a bit of a gathering like Canterbury. Would be nice to see you again before you return to Canada. Best wishes Grant

Hi Richard and Grant! I booked my ticket yesterday. I have seat DD20 in the stalls for the 2:30pm performance. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif I wanted to book a seat more in the front but that wasn't possible anymore. I try to get the earliest flight for that day if possible to arrive early at Cadogan Hall. Maybe it's possible to meet Hayley when she arrives. Let's see. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSo if anybody else wants to go to the show, the first three rows AA, BB, and CC aren't available anymore for both shows. So hurry up with booking. Looking forward to meet you there! Thomas In the light of the above, I rang this morning and am in the centre of row A. I was going for the evening performance but as everyone else seems to be going for the after-noon; the fact that it lasts only one hour (with interval? I doubt there will be one); and if she is singing only one song; then maybe she will 'pop her head out on to the street' to say 'hi guys' as she has done twice before. So folks, what does that mean? It means (says he who can't sing for toffee and refused to be in the group with her just mouthing the words (Shrewsbury 1995?) in case even that put her off key) a rendition of Happy Birthday is surely a must: so practice, practice, practice. Peter S.

Sorry guys, it's too far to come for one song. I'm only an hour and a half away and was thinking the same thing but really I 'm going for the camaraderie of the whole and it will be some time since I have seen Hayley--and then I didn't properly. Next time will be, I was going to say, 'Grassington', but somewhere in there is Telford, which I haven't yet had a chance to book for. I'd better check that thread out for details But your travel distance and cost is far more than mine. Nowhere as expensive as Christchurch, though. Oh gosh, I've got to renew my passport, look at the logistics... and the cost! And we don't have any concert commitments yet. Peter S.

Hi everyone As this production is billed as an introduction to the orchestra and very much promoted as suitable for "the family" I am sort of considering booking myself. It is my youngest daughters birthday on the 15th April and she has a friend who is gradually becoming a "Hayley fan" since listening to Pure when visiting our house. They also offer a very attractive family ticket ! I will check out if we are able to come - it may have to be the 4.30 peformance as you all seem to have booked the best seats for the earlier one May see you there - keep you posted ! Mark.

I expect most of us who are going to the earlier show will stick around for a while afterwards, so if you do go to the 4:30pm performance I'm sure we'll see you there! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif90 days to go! I just booked my ticket for the 2:30 show- I'm in row DD11- so its only a few rows back this time which means I will have a much better view than in canterbury- I look forward to seeing all of you again and maybe even seeing Hayley again!! I leave on the 13th of April (which is actually, also the day I turn 20) so it will be a wonderful early birthday present to go into London again one last time a few days before I have to leave! Anyway, I have a morning class tomorrow- so I should sign off- but I look forward to seeing everyone in April! -Elizabeth

Hi Grant, Are you suggesting that some of us should get new faces? Come to think of it, yeah, maybe you're right! Roger (exiting in Richard's direction!)
