Hi Hayley Mc and all the other "new recruits"!!
You are indeed honoured to share Hayley's name - did you know it means 'hero'?
You will all find a lot to hear and talk about on the forum, we are relatively small in number but, most of us are regular participants and you will certainly get the most up to date information as soon as it becomes public.
I don't know how much you all know about Hayley, but there is an excellent book entitled "The World At Her Feet" by Paul Little available at the bigger book shops and/or from Amazon.co.uk
If you have any questions at all, however silly you may think them to be, post them and someone will give you an answer.
Enjoy your time with us and hope we can meet up at a concert during the year.
Grant

HI all!....looks like a great website....the way I 1st 'eard of "Hayley W" is that I was in the USA, in the state of california,at me cousins 'ouse in L.A.,we were sittin' about, bored,so we turn the telly on & started flippin' thur the channels,we stop on this one of a concert & saw right at the start "another "Hayley" ,so we kept watchin' it & was real impressed with the lot of it.So then just a couple of days ago I return to good old England, the next day(2-2-07) I went down to the shops & found the dexlue CD of the "Celtic Woman" show,so I bought it & now I'm a big fan of "Hayley W" & all of the CW...'ope to see you all on 'ere now & then...."Hayley Mc! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Hi Hayley Mc,
Thanks for telling us how you came to know Hayley. It is ironic that you discovered her that way because one of the reasons why your namesake is now associated with Celtic Woman is to spread her name in America. But the first person we hear about who found her that way actually comes from England!
Oh well, the plan is working, I guess!

It's great hearing stories about how you came to Hayley Westenra awareness! Mine was, I was in Woolies, rushing buying CD's for people's birthdays (as you do), (where about five seem to come at once)... I saw Pure reduced in the section (at least it made way for Odyssey *hee hee*), and I looked inside the sleeve and I thought he might like this AND... some of the stills of the photographs in two of her albums (two photo's from different angles) were a spitting image of my ex-girlfriend before I had even heard about Hayley.
So I thought I'd buy it, copy it (don't tell him) and then give him it... well he wasn't really interested, but I loved it and have been Hayley mad ever since! (Finally buying all her back catalogue last year!)
What a wierd way to get there, but hay, I got there! Two of these pictures still remind me of my ex Frankie!!!!! Spooooky! At least I heard new music, as all I was into before was rock/pop and rock 'n' roll!
Love and Light
