Hello,J-C Chen. I'm a Taiwanese fan, too I can't wait for attending tomorrow's concert! And for the fans here who is interested in Hayley's concerts in Taiwan, I just found a "月亮代表我的心" (The Moon Represents My Heart) video taken from her Kaohsiung concert: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsCd2xw05pY

OMG, I really have to say that her Taiwanese pronunciation is more than perfect! Even somewhat better than me! The lyrics is in classical Taiwanese, which is harder to speak & sing than colloquial Taiwanese. We Taiwanese fans were all impressed by her brilliant performance!

Thanks! I'm looking forward to hearing the new Taiwanese song. Well, I hope we get to hear it! I listened to it on youtube, and it's a very nice song. Hayley will sound wonderful singing it! I really hope we can hear it somehow. And I'm guessing the "river Tuantuan" song is Pokarekare Ana (stormy are the waters?) unless it's a new one we don't know yet. And the "Tears" one I assume is Nada Sousou. Is "https://i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifream River" River of Dreams? What about "make me cry"? What I'm really interested in is the "unexpected surprises" they mention. Could this mean new songs from the new album? Or maybe just other Taiwanese songs. That could be, too. Yeah, your guessing is totally correct. Regarding the "Make Me Cry" song, it's actually the famous "Lascia Ch'io Pianga" aria.

According to this news ( tw.news.yahoo.com/article/url/d/a/100929/78/2dy7j.html), the 2 Taiwan concerts will be with different repertoires. The Kaohsiung concert at the K-Arena will be more classical, with symphony orchestra accompaniment; while the Taipei concert at the National concert Hall will be more pop, with Hayley's own band. In the article, she said that she's very interested in playing a role in costume drama movies like "Pride & Prejudice". I just got a National Concert Hall's monthly program brochure, in which Taipei concert set-list was partially revealed: Both Sides Now Wuthering Heights Amazing Grace Danny Boy Scarborough Fair Songbird Yuki no Hana (Snow Flower) Prayer My Heart Belongs to You (And the 雨夜花 [Flowers in the Rainy Night] as I mentioned a few days ago)

Hayley will sing a famous Taiwanese folk song as an encore in her Taiwan concerts! The exciting news just came out: news.msn.com.tw/news1876621.aspxThe song "雨夜花" (Flowers in the Rainy Night) is a classic traditional Taiwanese song. I'm really impressed by Hayley's language talent, for Taiwanese is a language that has more tones than Chinese, and it is harder to speak or even sing for foreigners. For fans who hadn't heard this song before, here is a video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qke67CiYR_Y . It was sung by the queen of Taiwanese songs, 江蕙. In the last part of the video, she made a fabulous duet with the one the only, Domingo.

Judging by google translate, the name of the tour is something like 'Dream Sounds of Nature' -- but I'm not sure what the proper translation is. Well, the "夢幻天籟" actually means dreamy and heavenly music. The "天籟" word has two meanings, one is sounds of nature, the other is extremely beautiful voice that seems to come directly from heaven.

Well, you said: Hayley will sing for the World Expo closing ceremony on Oct 30, Shanghai! So that's why I was wondering if this was a separate performance or not. Sorry for the confusion. In the beginning I thought the 2 performances will be on the same day, because the local news of Taiwan didn't specify the date of the World Expo closing ceremony. So allow me to clarify it here: The Shanghai concert is on Oct 30, whereas the World Expo closing ceremony is on the next day, Oct 31.

I adore Sissel so much, and personally I think every Hayley's fan would love Sissel's voice, too. Some of my friends describe her as "an older/maturer version of Hayley"

So, is Hayley performing 2 separate times in Shanghai, on the same day? One at the World Expo closing ceremony, and another at the Shanghai Grand Theatre? Or are they the same thing? Nope. The Shanghai concert is on Oct 30, whereas the World Expo closing ceremony is on the next day, Oct 31.

Maybe that means there'll be some songs like that on the Taiwanese version of her album. Oh, how many CDs will I need to buy, and how easy will that one be to get? I don't know much about the World Expo. But it's great that Hayley will sing for it! en.expo2010.cn/ The World Expo's official site It will be lovely if she records some "bonus" for her Taiwanese album version. I'll keep an eye on it, and don't worry, there are some web-shops that can buy CDs from Taiwan and send them abroad.
