The lady Hayley tags in her post has also posted this photo to her stories and she has also posted another photo of Hayley (showing her face) on her stories too, but I can't figure out how to post that here... www.instagram.com/lishaweth/

I've been listening to Jonathan Antoine's new single, Io Si (Seen). It is a beautiful song, and he sings it so well, with so much emotion. I'd highly recommend it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zybog6uIa1M. I've also been listening to the original by Laura Pausini www.youtube.com/watch?v=imjSm7FNmwE, I prefer Jonathan's version in Italian but it is nice to hear the English translation in this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qd5m1ZqFIAI. She has also recorded the song in French and Spanish, and half English, half Italian. I must say I would love to hear Hayley sing it one day, it would be a lovely song for her I think, it's very comforting. It would be lovely to have Jonathan and Hayley sing a duet of this song but I think that'd be hoping for too much

Thank you for the lyrics Libby and the video Dave I have been listening to the song a lot over the past few days, and I like it more and more as I listen to it. At first I missed a lot of the lyrics but now I can read them I think I hear them much better. I hope she does record and release this song soon. I've been doing some painting today and as I listened to the song again I was inspired to paint this: I thought you might like to see it. I might try something a bit different with it sometime. I've been looking at other songs I like and thinking about whether I could paint something 'for them too. I'm not sure if my link will work, I'm never very good at posting links and things like that here https://www.instagram.com/p/CNvQcBGs3ui

If I knew 8 years ago that, after a less-than-satisfactory album, we would not have an album 8 years on from that, I would probably have had a conniption. So, it's a good thing we don't know the future. In that case, we don't know right now whether there will or won't be an album 8 years from now (but if we have to wait even 5 more years, we might as well forget it!). Well, until we have a definite statement from Hayley saying she's done forever, I will continue to log on to this forum. Even then, I will still follow her on SM as long as she is on there. Me too Libby! (I don't log in that much anymore but I do look at it as much as I can.( If we have more news of an album/ more music etc I'll definitely be logging in more.) I really hope she is able to record something this year, even if it's just a download rather than a physical album it would be amazing. I know of quite a lot of independent artists who never release physical albums these days but they do release downloads quite often. I really hope we have something in less than 5 years. I just hope the pandemic hasn't set things back too much, I know it has had a huge impact on the music industry. I'll keep following her on SM as long as she is there sharing things with us.

I'm so pleased Hayley was part of that concert. I really like this new song! I think I'll need to listen to it a few more times to really get the words but it is really good. I hope she is able to record it soon like she said in the short interview afterwards. It's just so nice to see her again and hear her voice (both singing and speaking.) I think she looked nervous at first but she hasn't really been performing much in public in a long time so that's not surprising at all. I really hope we start to see more of this sort of thing. I think the more she does of this the more it will encourage her and give her more reassurance (if she needs it) that she can do this. It must be pretty daunting in many respects after all this time. I wonder if some of her being quiet on social media etc is still wanting to be singing etc but keeping everything else private, particularly relationships and family matters. I can't blame her for that at all to be honest with how judgemental people can be these days. One mistake on social media leads to all sorts of drama and things these days. I also feel I can't keep up with all these changes and new platforms on social media I wonder if that has been the same for her too- I notice things like tiktok- are so popular now and seem to be where most attention lies. I just can't keep up with it to be honest. I hope she keeps posting on Instagram though and sharing some things with us, even just cups of coffee etc for us to see she is ok more than anything else. I really hope we can hear a recording of this new song soon and we can get the lyrics. It would be interesting to hear more about it's inspiration although I think we can guess.

Well, nothing so far. I know he was online, and so was Hayley, because they both liked a post by roundhead studios (imagine that! ), so either he's ignoring the question, or somehow he didn't notice. Well, I imagine it may be a sensitive topic, but I just asked as if I had no notion of what could possibly be going on (or not going on, as the case may be). I didn't ask Jason or Andy. I like to ask my questions on recent posts, so it makes more sense to reply to them. Andy rarely posts anything, so not much point in asking him, but Jason occasionally posts. However, mostly he posts stories, and I'm not going to try to reply to a story. Speaking of replying to a story, I'm curious. What does it look like to the person on the receiving end when someone replies or reacts to your story? I'm just curious, because on Hayley's or others, I will react with a "heart-eyes", or occasionally make a comment, and I always wonder how or where it is received. I don't post many stories myself, mostly because I have never noticed that anyone has even seen it, let alone replied to it, so I usually don't bother. It's most likely that nobody did, but I'm just wondering, if someone did say something, where would I see it? On Facebook, it's easy, because it shows up in your regular notifications. So I do post stories there. Sometimes the only way I see a reaction from certain friends is when I do post a FB story. It's like some people only look at stories, and nothing else. LOL weird. But I actually wonder if they stumble on it by accident. Like, if you're looking at one person's story, it'll immediately go to the next person's story whether you want it to or not. LOL I've only posted a few stories, I do so quite sparingly I think, often if I'm very bored or I like one of the filters I've found on there or a photo I've taken doesn't fit very well on the main page LOL. I feel a little self conscious being able to know exactly how many people have looked at my story- because I think they're quite boring LOL. I don't always see the point as they're only there for 24 hours too unless you add them to 'highlights.' I have posted a few more than usual for me recently though . In my very limited experience, I've had a couple of reactions to them and a couple of messages- they go into a "Direct Message" folder and you get an alert that some one has 'responded to your story.' If it's a 'like' you see a heart emoji, like on the main pages but a bit bigger. Any comments just go to a direct message folder that you can choose to reply to if you want, or dismiss if you don't. You get the option to post their response to your story if you want to if that makes sense LOL . Oddly I can't seem to 'follow' Hayley on Instagram anymore, I looked one day and somehow I had 'unfollowed' her, I certainly didn't do that. Now every time I try to follow her page again it says 'sorry an error occurred.'

Sorry it's taken me a little while to get back on here again Libby (but not as long as before ) Yes, I was a little surprised by that debate . I think you're right, I think she probably did need some outside help, but I just hope she is happier and is getting healthier now. Judging by recent Instagram posts I think she is in the best place and is looking happier, it is so nice to see her smile.

I've really enjoyed listening to Jonathan Antoine's new album Going the Distance, some wonderful songs on there, and his voice is getting better and better all the time, imo. His Nessun Dorma is incredible too (I know it has been done so often over the years but his version is defintely one of the very best). I think his version of Country Roads is my favourite song at the moment, www.youtube.com/watch?v=lImjP8q2uS4. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j2brMoqJwAI've also got into learning French again (I became fluent at one point then started forgetting a lot so during the pandemic, when I haven't been at work, I've been reading some French books etc.) I recently stumbled across this American band, Pomplamoose, they're currently releasing quite a few French songs (they do a lot in English too, some of them are very good too imo.) I particularly like these at the moment. My mum likes them too although she doesn't speak any French at all (well not knowingly she says! ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4YxAnTEiWswww.youtube.com/watch?v=kTP246fnKAIwww.youtube.com/watch?v=7B4CLQGxHmII really like Hauser too, Libby, particularly Rachmaninov's piano concerto 2 and Caruso. I recently found this one. I love him playing the cello, I think Hayley sang the song much better, not least because it was in English and I could understand it better. www.youtube.com/watch?v=6j_zL76cOi8

Hi all Gosh it's been a while since I posted here but I have been looking through posts here. Admittedly not for a few months now as I generally thought most things would be on social media. Having looked through the pages since the beginning of this year it turns out I have missed a lot more than I thought I would have! Most of what I'm about to type will probably be just rambling thoughts so sorry for that I had been having problems logging on a while back but thought I'd try again today and turns out I can log in again now. Hopefully, I'll be able to more often, although there isn't a tremendous amount to say at the moment. She does *touchwood* appear to be posting more frequently at the moment...I probably shouldn't say that, it could be another few months before we hear anything again now It is lovely to see Hayley back in New Zealand, I hope she is getting some rest and support from family and friends. I must say I did think it a little strange that there didn't seem to be many signs of Hayley being very much in contact with her family (I know NZ and LA are far apart and to be honest she doesn't show much of anything on social media for long periods) but I did think that she might have posted something for mother's day and her mother's birthday, and something for Sophie's birthday (especially as she is 30 this year, a 'milestone' age) and Isaac's. But then again given the nature of a lot of her posts now it wasn't really that surprising I guess. It is nice to see she is spending time with her mum now though. I hope that she is there for a while, especially given everything with the pandemic. I'm not sure I should really say this and please edit out if you think not, but does Hayley's mum look very thin to you? I just think with other discussions about Hayley being very thin now, (I have been worried about some of the photos she has posted recently, having had my sister struggle with an eating disorder she does look very similar to how my sister did when she was getting v ill with it. Fortunately, my sister was able to seek help and is doing a lot better now, although things have become pretty shaky at times during this pandemic.)... It does make me wonder, not in a horrible way or anything I know her mum is very into nutrition etc but if they're both very thin has that perhaps hindered some help she may have had before? Like I say I don't want to say much it's a very delicate subject. I might be wrong- I've read quite a lot over the past hour, I'm not sure how much has gone in. but her not following Chris anymore, I've had a look on Instagram and she appears to be following him again. With regards her deleting photos, I get the impression that for whatever reason she doesn't like having them on there for long, or she doesn't like having many on her feed. I think she much prefers the stories when she does post things, only 'significant' things such as Ennio Morricone and Dame Vera Lynn recently. That she posted the photos of her in New Zealand on her feed does kind of suggest to me that she is probably intending on staying there for a while now. I have to say I have found myself wishing she would put out some sort of statement about what she is doing, even to say she isn't sure what she is doing at the moment. An author I really like was writing a series of books but then suddenly stopped. There were a few months of nothing but then she did post saying she is sorry for the delay and to tell us she was still working on the book etc. I know it has been years now since Hayley released an album and I know she doesn't owe us anything in that way but she must know a lot of us are there for her and wish her the best. She doesn't have to tell us anything about her private life, just something related to the album etc. With social media, videos and photos etc being so easy to share now it wouldn't be difficult to say she is taking an extended break, or she is taking time to decide what she is doing. Or that her plans have been somewhat forced to change due to the pandemic. She wouldn't have to be very vocal, just a small statement. I know we can guess as much but it would be nice to have something directly to us, some reassurance or just some way of knowing where things stand. There are many 'celebrities' who really like to keep a private life and don't share everything but have been quite active about the pandemic. I would imagine this is affecting her, whether she has a job outside music now or not, I think it's hard to find an industry that hasn't been affected by this. Of course, that doesn't mean she has to say anything about it. I think in some ways if she did it would get lost in the depths of social media as almost everything is about the pandemic at the moment, and a lot are trying to find ways of escaping reading or hearing any more about it. I think until we get something like that though, that lets us know a little bit more where things stand we won't be able to help trying to piece together clues and keep being concerned/ worried about her. I have to say it is hard to keep hoping there will be some new music soon but I still do hold on to that hope. I'm expecting it to be very different from her older songs but I just really hope she does release more music someday soon. I know things were thrown at her when she was very young and she has had by the looks of it a lot of challenges over the years, but she is so talented and I really think music could be the thing that really helps her get through the challenges she has had. It would be lovely to see more of Hayley's adventures in New Zealand, it is such a beautiful country, one I would love to visit. The story she posted the other day of the mountains looked so beautiful...
