Hello Reb, and welcome to the forum! If Einstein's theory of relativity is correct, and I challenge anybody to prove that it isn't, then we're all rebels compared to Hayley, relatively speaking! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifYou've definitely found the right place to show your support for Hayley, and I'm looking forward to your future posts. Best wishes from London, Richard Ha ha....wellllll i gotta say hey...some parts of it have sorta been proven wrong hey.....BUT ohhhh and the one biggy hey that Einstein sorta made a boo boo hey was that NOTHING travels faster then the speed of light hey....OPPS he made a little boo boo ....he forgot about the electrons in an atom hey....ohhh wellll he tried hey Sandy xxx

Hi Reb, Yes, you'll fit in here all right. I think most of us feel like that about Hayley. She says she is not a rebel, but she is certainly unique, and likes to do things her way. We admire that here! Martin D Steady Martin. Depends which Mods are on, they don't all admire us doing things our own way! Peter S.

I've been gone so long I'd better re-introduce myself. It's been about 2 or perhaps 3 years since my last posting. Although I always felt at home here I rather ran out of superlatives to heap upon "our" Hayley. She's done quite a lot in the meantime--all of which is typically outstanding while I've preoccupied myself with trying to keep up with all new releases (in all their various versions) and keeping my eyes open on E-Bay for anyone foolish enough to part with WITA.
As of midnight this morning (Pacific Daylight Time in the US) I became the proud owner of a copy of WITA which I bought on E-Bay. Needless to say I've yet to receive it but I'm already turning blue from holding my breath in anticipation of its arrival.
When it's in my possession and after I've listened to it about a dozen times I fully intend to post in the "Does anyone have WITA" thread about how wonderful it is. My stack of Hayley CDs measures nearly 24 inches high. This one will undoubtedly be the most prized album of the lot.
It is now nearly 3:30 am my time and I'm so stoked about my actually acquiring a copy of WITA at long last that I can't sleep. Someone get me a sleeping pill, no, forget it--I don't want to go to sleep. I just want to stay awake until I get the CD in hand.

Hi Ed,
Congratulations! I would love a genuine copy of WITA, but I'm not prepared to pay the price, as someone said, of a small car for it. I think the one you bought though was probably a bargain. How much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking (ignore me if you do)?

Hey Martin,
$860.00 (US). This was not one of the first 70 but one of the second 1,000. According to Wikipedia one of the first 70 sold on March 9, 2009 for $3,100. Apart from the artwork being different, the first 70 had 14 tracks and the second 1,000 only 13. "Part of My World" is the title of the missing track (#13 on the original 70).
Whoever posted the article on Wikipedia has got to be as crazed a Hayley fan as I am. Imagine! An entire article devoted to the title of one demo CD album!
Chlöe Agnew of Celtic Woman released an album of the same name in 2006, Yet it's Hayley's W.I.T.A. that gets this unique recognition. How rare is that?

Hi Ed,
Hayley is a once in a lifetime artist. I'm convinced of that. I have had the privilege to hear her sing live and meet her several times. It took her 10 seconds to convince me the first time I heard her sing, which was live.
And even then, when she recorded WITA, she was clearly special. She just has so much potential. You know that one day the world is going to wake up to her. And then she will be like Barbra Streisand, so expensive to see that ordinary people can't afford it.
I hope you get to see her perform live before that happens. She is wonderful on record, but live, WOW!

Hello Martin D,
In May of 2007 I had the privilege of seeing Hayley perform in Seattle when she was touring with Celtic Woman in their "A New Journey" tour. Although I enjoyed the show with all its beauty, for me the highlight was that I saw her perform in person and she was wonderful. CW has come to Seattle every year in May but I've not attended any of them since Hayley left the group. To my continued disappointment Hayley hasn't appeared in Seattle since. I can't understand why I have to constantly tell people about her and have to persuade them to listen to her on my mp3 player. She should be a household name in the US by now but alas most people have never heard of her.
A young man to whom I introduced Hayley and her angelic singing is so impressed and wanting to see her in a live performance that he's using his G.I. bill to go to London to study music. His motivation is that he's convinced that the schools in the US haven't the class to teach him what he can learn in Europe. Moreover he's aware that the performers he most admires are in the UK (Hayley, Faryl, CW, Camilla, etc.). You Brits are indeed more fortunate than we colonials in that regard.

Hi Ed,
Glad you have seen her live and know how special she is. And yes, I agree, she should be a houshold name, yet even in the UK, many, I suspect most people don't know who she is. I think too many people here use their eyes, not their ears. So they watch TV talent shows, and the artists that get the big prime time shows on TV, and think that is the best there is. Hayley resfuses to be poured into someone else's mould, and so the people who would do that ignore her. I consider her the most exciting artist I have come across since the 1970s at least. Perhaps that is the problem. Back in those days, original artists could get some airplay. These days it seems, if you don't fit, you get nothing. In the UK, only one national radio station, Classic FM, ever plays her music. And since they are a classical music station, they ignore her pop and folk offerings. I would like to think that her new album will change that, but since Hayley is not telling us much about that, I don't know if it is a realistic hope. Being selfish I might think that is a good thing, after all I can still afford to go to her concerts. I remember after the first time that I saw her, thinking that I was glad that I had seen her whilst I could still afford to. I genuinely expected her to be unaffordable by now. The two things that have made that possible are media indifference, and Hayley's own loyalty to her fans and extensive charity work. I've said before she is music's best kept secret.

Hi everyone, I'm glad to join this great forum. I wonder if I'm the first person from Russia to register here. I've discovered Hayley's marvellous voice not a long time ago and fell in love with it at the first sight. Wish I could see her live one day but I doubt it'll ever be possible. Hayley really has got an exceptional tembre and such a powerful voice, and the way she expresses the lyrics is more than touching, so emotional. Well, anyway, I look forward to meeting new people on this board, it's really fantastic that there are a lot of Hayley's fans all over the globe. Have a nice day! Maya.

Hi Richard, and thanks for your warm welcome! I've got a friend who is absolutely crazy about Ireland and about Irish music, and at first she sent me some albums by "Celtic woman". Later I accidentally came across Hayley on youtube and started searching for her songs all over the internet. And then before I was looking for some Christmas songs and came across "whispering hope", but I was not sure who was singing it. The voice fascinated me but I didn't have any information about the singer. So I've been lucky to learn about Hayley's amazing music, and I'm very happy that I didn't miss that opportunity! There are really few talents like Hayley, and it's always wonderful to discover them among all the garbage of the modern pop music.
