The origins of 'Amazing Grace' has a link to Ireland. The town of Buncrana, on the banks of Lough Swilly in County Donegal, recently opened an Amazing Grace viewpoint, and earlier this year held an Amazing Grace festival.

Did you ever see the film "Amazing Grace" which was about John Newton and his support for William Wilberforce? Well worth watching if you get the chance.

No, I haven't seen that film. To be honest, I didn't know anything about the history of Amazing Grace, until I read about the link with Buncrana recently. Looks an interesting film though.
