Had a good listen at the Sing EP today.
Hayley was wonderful on Amazing Grace. A very dignified performance.
I think Gary's version of Sing would have been better placed as the last track reprise. I've not heard the name Gary Barlow before this recording. The group Take That are not wll known in the US, although Robbie Williams' solo career is. Bit like Wham! and George Michael and the not-as-famous Andrew Ridgeley.
The contributions from Alfie and Laura were amazing. LOVE 'God Save the Queen'! And 2 verses too! Its exotic instrumentation reminds me of what might be performed for Her Majesty during a visit to the Caribbean or Africa.
I'll want to see what other songs the Military Wives have done.

Hello Joe! The Military Wives have recorded an album 'In My Dreams', which is available at Amazon.com as a CD or a download HERE. I've posted the direct link to the MP3 version so you can see the tracklisting and listen to the samples. Richard

From Music Week www.musicweek.com/story.asp?storycode=1049843 today: So it's going well, amd the album is definitely bringing Hayley to more people's attention as her World In Union is no. 7 in the iTunes classical tracks chart, and Pokarekare Ana is now in too, at no. 120. World in Union should easily make the official classical singles chart on Monday, as long as it's "officially" classical and not just at iTunes. Cheers, Dave
