Looked at the lyrics booklet though (yes, there is one). Two new Hayley English lyrics to enjoy. I think I'm going to go and have a listen!

Nah, I'll upload some photos first! The cardboard and bubble wrap are the substabtial packaging it came in. The two new songs in English are tracks 2 and 7. I would guess that they are fairly recent compositions! Martin D

Martin, having some ketchup with that CD? I never use ketchup!! It doesn't agree with my stomach. There was actually a time when tomatoes were considered poisonous - for me they are. But I have grandkids who seem to eat nothing else. Martin D

Well, I've listened to the CD. Yet to watch the DVD. Most of the songs are well known, and I think of the ones we know, it is a pretty good selection, although my own personal "best of" has a couple that aren't there.
As for the four new songs. They need more listens, but I'm sure I love them. Her two new lyrics seem very personal, as I have always felt do a lot of her songs on the HSJS albums. And as such, they give us a peek into some of her experiences, and that she is singing from her own experience and own feelings lyrics that she wrote herself makes it all the more powerful. The Japanese World in Union is yet another different feel that she has extracted from that song. It is the same song, yet she somehow embues it with a uniquely Japanese flavour. Wonderful. The final song, in Japanese, I haven't got my brain round yet. It might need a bit of research!
