Everyone talks like they're married or something. Dunno if that day's anytime soon. Nice shoot, but the article was kinda bland and revealed very few details. I'm sure we don't want Hayley to go the route of another singer and give all the graphic details, but some basic questions seem to have been missed. Then again, maybe before the interview Brian Lane said those couldn't be asked. Hayley doesn't need any help in deciding what questions are to be avoided - I'm sure she made that very clear from the start, and the resulting information is no more and no less that she was prepared to state. That's her absolute right and that's fine by me.

Nice to know SOMEONE has all the answers. It is, of course, the interviewee's right to decide what they will discuss and won't. It is also the interviewer's right to decide whether or not to go ahead knowing that. And it is the reader's right to comment on the content and indicate what they think of it.

But they don't force them to answer something they don't want to, do they? If they don't answer something, do they threaten them with torture, or something? I can't imagine what details you think are missing. In my view, this is already more than I was expecting anytime soon. I didn't know if or when Hayley would ever speak of her relationship in much detail, and I was fine with that. It's nice now that we don't have to tip-toe around this topic as much, though, and to be allowed to say his name and not feel guilty about seeing pictures (or certain Christmastime videos) of him.

I think we knew that Hayley would talk about her relationship once they were both ready. It is a good time to do it now, since it gets her name into the media at the same time as the new album is released. That might provide a bit of free advertising and help sell a few more copies.
As for what she says, we have no right to pressurise her to say anything at all about her private life, what she says is up to her. I thought that this was a good article, and told us quite a lot.
And the article certainly gives the impression that this is a pretty solid relationship. A lot of people DO get married after shorter relationships than this one, but Hayley is quite young and I suspect not quite ready to settle down yet. And whilst she is still single, she can concentrate on her music, something we all love and benefit from.

Thanks Dori & All Although this is not the first published article covering Arnaud & Hayley, it's really sweet to have a very direct interview covering their obvious joy at having found each other. Long live Arnoud & Ayley Graemek

The big question ? Can we order the magazine ? Yes Paul, you may, & I have, but it's not yet at my doorstep. And furthermore my Paradiso is still sitting in some postal clearing centre somewhere. Graeme

So what is the proper pronunciation of the name "Arnaud"? I never took French so my best guess is "ar-nawd".

Hi Steve, More like ar-no I think. Martin D Interesting. Like the "Arno" river in "O Mio Babbino Caro".... hmm, she sings about rivers a lot.... maybe this relationship was inevitable.

The article says it's "Ah-no". I'm wondering if the lack of r is due to their kiwi accent, or is the R really silent. What does she say when he makes her mad? "Ah NO!!" I'm sure he never does anything to make her mad, of course. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Is this another variation on the pronunciation?

Hi, Libby, I am quite sure the ah-no is a try to reprodue the (I think unique) French pronunciation of the R. But I think a G is closer than an H, although both are very, very inaccurate.

Is it like Ach? Sort of like the ch sound in "Loch Ness"?
