I've been led to believe so, but nothing is official yet.

Hi Nick,
The latest information I have is that Hayley will be joining the tour in mid-March and seeing it through to the end.

Here's a press release from PBS...it mentions all of the special programming to aired by a majority of PBS stations. Included is the description of Celtic Woman: A New Journey... Also in December is CELTIC WOMAN – A NEW JOURNEY (check local listings), recorded at historic Slane Castle and featuring the talented original Celtic Woman members — singers Chloe, Lisa, Méav and Orla, and violinist Máiréad — joined by New Zealand-born singer Hayley Westenra, whose forebears hailed from County Monaghan.View the entire PBS Christmas programming highlights here Joe

Looks like they are really going to be pushing the concert tickets during those fund drives on those dates. I was thinking of going to the concert in PA but have centered my funds for Radio City Music Hall instead. However I may still go to PA for that show depending. Of course id have to make that decision here in the next few days if i want to get good tickets. I cant wait. Its going to be an awesome tour. Ive just spent the last 2 months planning my trip to the East coast in March and I have almost all the details worked out. I cant wait to see Hayley perform in NYC.

Hi Peter,
Quite often, my PBS station will air concerts and as part of a pledge incentive, offer tickets when the same performer will be in the vicinity. They had Andre Rieu tickets which I had to pass on. I do hope this is the case with the CW and Hayley.
Looks like the weekend of December 2 & 3 will have CW and our Hayley singing coast to coast!

Joe Hi Joe, Yes. This Celtic Woman tour will be all through PBS. The major difference this time is that to ensure that all the tickets are sold through PBS as part of their fund drive the tickets will be split up amoung several PBS stations in the same State/States. So this time not only are you competing with other pledgers but you are competeing with other stations too. Celtic Woman is going to be here in the US for a longer time only they wont be doing as many shows crammed into such a small time frame. They will be taking more days off and resting more then they have during past tours. Also the info that Im getting suggests the Hayley will not be doing all the dates after the 17th of March. From what ive been hearing it looks like she may only be doing a few key venues with Celtic Woman. Its really hard to say as there has been no official release of information on this subject. If you are looking to get tickets for PA I strongly suggest that you call those stations for info about the tickets. PA is one of the areas I didnt call because im spending so much in NYC. NYC is going to cost me about $7000. But i understad the CW will be in Phily on March 13 or 14th just a few days after the 2 shows in Boston. Depending on my schedule I may go the the Phily show. Tickets are running right around $125 each or $250 per pair. If there is meet and greet then a pair is running $400 to $500. So far Im doing 2 meet and greets. One in Wallingford, CT and 1 in Boston on March 10th. The tickets will be going on sale starting either 12/3 or 12/4 depending on the PBS station but there are a few that are selling them already. Hartford, CT and a couple in California too.

be careful about going high-end on non-refundable stuff, you can get burned.

Joe,
Regarding your post about the Feb 26th show in Philadelphia, let me tell you that the show will be an absolute bargain for what you are paying if it goes according to plan (not to ignore what Steven just said about going high end, though).
I already pledged for tickets to Celtic Woman's March 3rd show in Wallingford CT. That was $400 for 2 concert tickets along with Meet and Greet. Hayley will not be with them for the show in CT.
So for your show in Philadelphia, you will be paying $100 less than I did, you'll get to see Hayley in concert with Celtic Woman (who I won't get to see in CT), and you would be seeing your concert sooner than I will see mine.

One thing from my above post: I am assuming that since they are advertising Hayley's name, that she will be at the actual concert too. My assumption could be wrong, but I don't think so if they are bandying Hayley's name around.

Hi Joe,
Please be cautious about seeing Hayley in PA. Steve Abbott told me that she will be joining the tour "around St Patrick's Day (17th March) in New York and seeing it through to the end". This may have changed but, if it has, I have not heard. It is possible that I will see Steve tomorrow (at Nicola Benedetti's concert in London). If the opportunity arises, I will ask him.

Roger I should have been there with you, Roger, but my American friend's plans were uncertain for too long, so was not able to grab the very obvious opportunity of seeing her in concert and perhaps meeting with her. Have a great evening as I am sure you will. Peter S.
