Hayley won Editor's Choice (which is a bit like a life time achievement award - will probably change the name of the award next year to its more appropriate title) and Best Female - not Album of the Year (though I cannot tell you the agonising that went between choosing Paradiso and Shine - they were the only two I was stressing over).
As John has correctly indicated - there will be no more voting. There are several reasons for this, and whilst many will be disappointed, I think there will be a sigh of relief among many fanbases as well. In my opinion, voting was being taken too seriously and was only meant a bit of fun. :/

Hi Nicola, Don't know what to do with myself now that I don't have to vote every 2 hours But seriously I think there was a lot of cheating and organised voting, that makes it hard work for you too to weed out the genuine fans from commercially interested parties. I like the new reorganised site. And of course I would like to congratulate Hayley on her Best Female award. And yes, I can understand that it must be hard sometimes to choose artists and albums for awards. I find myself much more in agreement with you than I expected to, so well done Nicola. Martin D

Well, you can all start voting again now! The rules have changed though, you can only vote once a day, for as many artists as you like. And you need to register with the site before you can vote. Of course, we hope you will vote regularly for our Hayley. Go to www.classical-crossover.co.uk/artprofiles/125-hayley-westenra.htmlMartin D

Thanks John. I put a similar message on Hayleyonline, but forgot to replicate it here. Hayley needs your votes people. She was the highest rated adult female singer last year. We want her to do even better this year, so that I can remove the words "female" and "adult".
So far this year there are at least three female adult singers ahead of her.
Go for it!

Thanks for the reminder, John! I've been a bit slack recently, but I'm now voting for Hayley again. Richard

I finally got around to voting! I know I set up an account a few years ago, but I didn't remember the information that I used, like even which of my e-mail addresses I used. I'd been slacking on it because of that, so finally today I made a new account, and voted! So, it's once every day, right?

Hello Libby! You can vote once every 24 hours. I couldn't vote for Hayley again about 45 minutes ago, but I've succeeded now the 24 hours have elapsed. Richard
