Hayley has two new stories and now I'm wondering if she just bought a home in New York! Maybe, unless Chris already has one, or even just visiting someone. But I have to wonder if she would really post the front of any of her homes. The way some of us know how to sleuth even a small stretch of beach, a house front might actually be easier! Might not be able to find out the exact address, but possibly the street. I certainly wouldn’t try, and I think some of the others have been sufficiently warned against this, but still, I wouldn’t trust us if I were Hayley. 😂 The first story shows Hayley with Laurie Carroll, who founded Procurio (a company in Greenwich Village that does art design and consultancy). The second story...its possible that Hayley bought a home, and that she’s a “New York girl now”. NYC is famous for “brownstone” homes, with wide stairs leading to double front doors and brown exteriors.

Now that I saw that she’s also following a real estate broker in NY, I think maybe you’re right. I guess all the homes might look similar, but the planters might not be the same.

Street view here we come! Of course, if we had some new music to listen to, we wouldn't get up to so much mischief. Oh dear! NY is bigger than I thought. This "sleuthing" might take a bit longer than usual.
P.S. Couple of new pics on Instagam.

Uh yeah, I get it about the waiting for the album, but come on. That was not supposed to be encouragement to sleuth; haven’t we been through this before? 🙄 We don’t need to know the exact location. In fact, we shouldn’t! Even if you keep it to yourself should you manage to find it somehow, I don’t find it appropriate to do so at all. 🤦♀️

Hayley has been posting photographs for her followers on Instagram for years. She is well aware that we will locate places that are on public streets or within view of distinctive landscape features quite quickly. I am sure people who are familiar with New York could find that house front in seconds. There are enough unique details in the photo to locate it exactly. I am sure others recognised the streetscape with the restaurant table in it immediately.

The fact that we think it might be her home in NY, yet still think it’s okay to find the exact location, is what bothers me. No, we have not been trying to find her houses for years. Again, we don’t NEED to know!! It’s in NY, what more do you need to know?? Being impatient for a new album is not a valid excuse. Her posting a photo in a certain place, knowing full well that it’s not hard to find the address, is not an invitation to find her. It’s just a nice photo of her in NY; why can’t we just leave it at that? If she wanted us to know her exact location, she’d hold up a sign with it written on it. 🙄🙄 I don’t care if you all think I’m too picky, I think you’re too nosey. I also don’t find the fact that you’ve done it for years a good reason to do it. And like I said, we haven’t tried to find her actual HOME for years, or if you have, shame on you.

A lot is happening in HayleyLand, and I am working like a dog trying to get things done at work before taxes are due in September. So here is a few thoughts as I read the drips and draps we are getting the last few weeks.
1. Again Congrats to the lovely couple! Looks like they are happy, and his family seems thrilled about it all. Hope the wedding doesn't pushes everything way back. 2. From the pictures we have seen the last month or so, they are mixing the songs. After that, it would be pressing the CDs/vinyl/etc, right? So not much more of a wait I hope. 3. Since Hayley mentions "an album Chris and I made" in her engagement announcement, I have the question if we are going to get songs like "Talk to Me", "Who Will Echo My Heart?", "Greener Lands", and the other new song she debuted in Dec. 2017 since Chris was not in the picture during that time of Hayley's life? It is starting to sound like Hayley could produce one or two independent albums easily from the material she gathered these last 6/7 years without breaking a sweat from the new official album coming out. Someone want to mention Crowdfunding from us fans. I just want the music and Hayley touring again! I don't need anything extra special in packaging, etc. I'm just tired of waiting.... 4. With Hayley buying a house in NYC, is this her only home? Or does she have a house/condo now also in LA? Just curious. Cause I can so do NYC if she wants to do a small gathering this Christmas season at one of the many theaters or pubs/restaurants in NYC. It's an idea to try to get this ball rolling. If someone wants to mention it on Instagram, go ahead!

And like I said, we haven’t tried to find her actual HOME for years, or if you have, shame on you. Well don't speak for me! I have found a lot of her homes before and have looked on google earth. Nothing wrong with that unless I knock on the door looking for a cuppa! She also says she is in Bushwick Brooklyn on Instagram. It is up to her what she shares (and she seems happy to do it) and up to each individual to do what they want with that information! I like virtually travelling and enjoying seeing the areas she is in. "Shame on me" I don't think so!!

I find it a little pretentious for you to be shaming others for natural curiosity. You might as well shame everyone on the internet. As a previous commenter stated, as long as people aren't showing up at her doorstep, following her through the streets, harassing her, or whatever, I see no harm in satisfying that curiosity on their own. Just like with other aspects of life - don't like it, don't do it. But I seem to remember in the early years of the Hayley-drought, you yourself also analyzed every aspect of her few-and-far-between postings. Whether or not it's actually her home, we'll most likely never know (and neither does it make much difference to me if it is or isn't). She very well could have plopped down on a random front stoop.

We have dealt with “sleuthing” before. If someone were to post about a specific area where Hayley may be living/staying, such as a beach, street, or a named neighborhood, then we will remove it.
Hayley will usually post her visits to places, hours afterwards (such as her catch-up with Laurie Carroll) yesterday.
If Hayley chooses to post a pic of a door, of course some people may find the desire to “sleuth”. We do not know if she lives there, or why Hayley was there.

I may have sleuthed before, but I would never try to find out the exact location where she lives. Maybe I’m being too harsh on you all for being “curious” but I still stand by my opinion. Just because you aren’t going to bother her doesn’t mean nobody else would try. Yes, I was very impatient for a long time, and I don’t blame anyone for being so now, but I was mostly looking for clues as to her album making. That’s not exactly the same thing. I’ve relaxed now that I know it’s at least been recorded. And because I’m so used to the seemingly never-ending wait. Anyway, going back to the photo, I now think she might just have been exploring, possibly looking for a place. But I’ll leave you all alone now.

Folks, please don't get wrapped round the wheels.
The comments made in my post of the 21st were tongue–in-cheek (in other words, not serious).
According to Mr. Google, NYC has a population of 8.4 million and is just over 300 square miles in area. It could take years on Street View to find a particular front door.
Please be assured, I'm not going to start searching!

Two new stories in from Hayley...who is just across the Delaware River from me! Here's to hoping you might get a Hayley gig you can go to Joe. not exactly near enough to knock on the door for a cuppa, but close enough if there was a good reason.
