Hayley posted a new story a little while ago, although I'm not sure exactly what I'm seeing. Well, I can identify Hayley's legs and feet, and the hem of a shaggy-looking sweater. Then there's a pile of clothes, like a jean jacket and maybe a knit hat? But I guess the angle of her shot has me trying to figure out what the clothes are sitting or hanging upon. However, the more interesting story was Chris' several hours ago. He says Beach house mix, which is one of those boomerang videos, where it looks like they're moving they're phone back and forth over and over. Well, pay close attention to the head, or the hair maybe, of the person behind the equipment to the left edge of the story... I think that is Hayley! At first I thought it was California, but I'm thinking Chris might be back in NZ. Hayley was just in NZ yesterday, so there wouldn't be enough time for her to be in CA already, I don't think. If Hayley does get a dog, it seems like it would probably have to be a small one, like the kind Chloe has, or even Josh, so it can travel with her. Otherwise someone would have to puppy sit for her puppy, instead of the other way around! Not that I can really picture her with a German Shepherd or St. Bernard, or something. LOL Another thought, could she really get an actual puppy, with a potential tour and album promotion coming? Puppies need lots of attention and supervision, and potty training can be a little stressful. LOL Well, she has been known to call dogs puppies, whether or not they are actually puppies. Also, she does say "future", and that could mean next week, or a few months, or even years. LOL It probably just means for the moment, she's seriously considering getting one; it doesn't necessarily mean she's waiting for a breeder to be ready to sell her one. I'm rather biased towards rescue/shelter animals myself, so I would like the idea of her getting a rescue. Though I don't know how bad the abandoned animal situation is in NZ compared to the US or UK. Then again, we still don't know how long she will stay in NZ, since there's her BF to consider, as well. LOL Yes, that's right, dogs are a responsibility and it is difficult if you move around as much as Hayley does. They need people around, my late wife Sue used to work nights so that she would be around in the daytime to look after the dog (I was around at night). It is easer with two of you for sure, but might Hayley be saying that her touring days are over? I seem to remember that she said she would eventually like to settle in NZ.

Umm, as I mentioned, Chloe Agnew travels with her 2 little dogs all the time! From the US to Dublin sometimes, even. Josh Groban has been touring and travelling with his Wheaton Terrier for years and years! Back in 2007, I even saw a glimpse of Sweeney's tail when Josh went back inside his tour bus, after signing for fans in the rain. Sweeney is now 14 years old, and he is on tour with Josh even as we speak! He even rode on a boat with Josh in Maine! I'm not saying Hayley would do all of that on a tour, I'm just saying it's not impossible to travel with a dog. I was only saying that the right time to get a puppy is not when you're going to be gone a lot (nobody said forever), and also a large breed wouldn't be ideal if she hoped to travel with her furry companion like many others do.
Now, again, we don't know when she's getting a dog or puppy. She might even wait till her touring is over, but I suspect it'll be soon, since she recently put that in her profile.
And... remember when Hayley said her little place in NZ was her "home for the next little while"? That means she has not moved back there permanently, YET.
Also, if you will recall, Hayley has an album coming out. We still have no idea when it will be out. But based on Hayley's instagram post the other day, I suspect the announcement is soon, but it still may be several months before the actual release date.
And when artists have albums, they usually tour with them. I mean, Chloe tours every year, and she has NO album!! I'm starting to think that she won't ever have one, and honestly, I've begun to lose interest in her.
But Hayley knows her fans have been waiting forEVER for her album. Now, do you honestly think she has gone to all the trouble of making an album that she knows very well that we've been waiting AGES for, and won't even tour at ALL? I'm sorry, but that's kind of ridiculous. Touring is the best way for a musician to make money! It's also a huge promotion of said album, which means album sales!! Come on, guys!
I don't think she begrudges us for wanting an album. I don't think she's making the album just because she feels like it. Of course, she did wait until she felt she was ready to do it. But I believe she still cares about and wants to please her fans. While it's true she's been off the scene for much longer than we ever thought she would, she has not been gone so long that everyone has totally lost interest (if they have, they were never really a fan to begin with, were they?) nor their desire to see her live, especially if they've never had a chance to do so. Now, if you will also recall, Hayley has always expressed her love of performing, and I honestly don't think she's decided to do an album after all this time and not tour at ALL with it! That is very unlikely to be the case. Again, she cares about her fans. Her hiatus was based on her own well-being, and she should of course put her health and well-being ahead of us. But that doesn't mean she hates us and suddenly stopped enjoying performing for fans. That's absurd, because that is not the type of person Hayley is.
Also, even if her album comes out this year (and I think it will, again, based on her post the other day AND the website that's coming soon...), it might not be till fall, and the tour might not start immediately. Or, if it does, I still think it will start in New Zealand. I honestly think that is one reason why she's been in New Zealand. To create her album in NZ, and tour there, to re-validate herself as a Kiwi artist. I think the best way to re-launch her career is to do so in NZ, where she will likely top the charts again (or come pretty close, I'm sure!). She probably won't do so anywhere else, but wouldn't you say starting herself off with a bang in NZ would be a good way to re-launch her career? Well, I would. Even if nobody else thinks my theory is right, I DO.
So, I guess the point is, if Hayley were to get a dog tomorrow, I think the dog would be well settled in with her by the time a tour would start.
Umm, the other reason I don't think she's moved to NZ for good is that she has a significant other to consider. I mean, he might decide to move to NZ, but I'm not so sure about that.

Yes, indeed, this album has been a long time in the making. Pure took a long time too as I recall, but not as long as this one. But when I think that my favourite album of Hayley's was made in 3 days....

Well, at long last, this album most likely has quite a few songs, if not all, that were created exclusively by Hayley, not by someone else's inspiration (Morricone, pre-written Japanese pop songs, etc.). In fact, I am kind of expecting that every song is written by Hayley, although I won't be totally surprised (and certainly not displeased) if a few covers are on it, as well. Ever since she sang The Rose in Taiwan, I've been hoping she'd at least include that, but I won't be surprised if it's not. It's already been 2 1/2 years since she sang that already! And that's how long it's been (well, longer) since she first released her Greener Lands video! And here we thought that was an indicator of a new album coming soon! There have been numerous songs I've thought of in the past several years for her to sing, and many other people have as well, I'm sure, but at this point, I've kind of forgotten them, and don't really expect her to sing them, whatever they were! LOL But one thing I've always remembered is that the songs Hayley writes are always favorites. They suit her voice the best, and they are always beautiful and unique. Now, imagine if her whole album contains such songs! Btw, I wonder if Simon was giving Hayley a ride to (or from) the studio on Saturday?

Actually I was wondering if "The Rose" would be on the new album. I remember at one point she was into roses on her Instagrams and tweets, and I wondered at the time if that was significant.
There is a short clip somewhere of her performing it, and I thought she did a stunning job, so I'm sure it would be a good song to include.

I tend to think that this "May" have been when she met him... The broken heart vs. the full heart, the wilted rose vs. the one in full bloom (or budding maybe). http://www.instagram.com/p/BjMwDXQnAnJ Then, remember that it was not long after in July when she and Kerenza were "riding in cars with boys", and ever since then, I was dying to know who those "boys" were. Not to mention the "we're just meant to be" post of her on top of Chris' friend Andrew Edamame's orange car. I think we know now who she was referring to in those posts.

Not much in the new picture from California to help track down it's location except the sun
I see Photobucket finally got around to watermarking my photos, including my avatar photo, oh well.

Here you are, Comet. I thought I'd posted this about four hours ago. Finger trouble again, no doubt.

Marvin Braude Bike Trail below Hayley's wine glass. Malibu beach hidden in the haze behind ... I don’t see how you know all that. And I was going to say, Chris isn’t in the photo, so how do you know what’s above his head? I suppose you mean behind his head, assuming he’s taking the photo, (which I do). I know we always want to know where she is, but this time for me, a beach in California is all I really need to know. I think Hayley might find it a bit creepy to know that people can find out all this just from that photo. 🤔

Internet sleuthing (is that "stalking"?) has been "de-rigueur" on this forum ever since I've been looking at it. Forum members seem to me to have enjoyed the activity and it's even been suggested on here that Hayley might enjoy leaving some cryptic clues for people to solve.
What do the forum moderators think?
Chris posted one of those 24 hour stories on his Instagram account which includes a photo of him with [features] in the background. Together with the photo of Hayley and the sun angle to the beach, an easy pin-point ...
If one publishes a photo in the public domain, then the intention must be for others to look at it. If there are identifiable background features, then locations can be identified. Thus, if the poster doesn't want a location identified, then the background should be cropped out or the photo taken from a different angle. With all Hayley's PR experience over the thick end of two decades, I'm inclined to the view that she is perfectly well aware of this sort of thing and therefore isn't bothered. Maybe Chris needs to be given the tip, though!
Actually, I'd much prefer the occasional close view photo of Hayley, possibly with others, rather than all these rather odd "boomerang" video clips, photos taken at odd angles, and the location shots, but these are what's posted.

Well done Chrissy. There has never been any objection made in public about us tracking down photo locations. If someone does not want a location found they could just tilt the camera and use sky as background, or just use a plain wall or grass. Of course the safest thing to do is not post any photos. But as anyone can see we do love tracking them down, I spent over three hours on Google Street view in LA to locate one video clip location, it was as good as a holiday 🏁

Yeah, I’ve been just as “guilty” as anyone else here, but I just found it a bit surprising that a beach could be identified so easily, when there are hundreds of beaches this could have been, as far as anyone unfamiliar with the area could tell without researching it. That’s all. Lol On that note, is there some reason why no one discovered where Hayley was doing her yoga etc. in Auckland? Or that park she was at viewing the sunrise after her yoga session? 😉 You see my point now? We must know the beach, but not other things? Just saying... Of course, beaches are way more interesting than yoga.
