I wonder if he sang the Misty Mountains song from The Hobbit, an Unexpected Journey? I also used to hear his song, Don't Dream it's Over on the radio at work.

Thanks John, Paul, Martin and Chrissy for the good info regarding Hayley’s latest Insta pic! At first I thought the NF under the Fleetwood Mac logo was the initials of an usher or security personnel, but it indeed stands for Neil Finn. Neil is a New Zealander...and wow! he’s got an impressive music career, especially as the lead singer of 80’s iconic group Crowded House. And before that he and his brother Tim were part of the NZ famous band Split Enz Sent from my SM-G950F using proboards

Babysitting? Well, if she is, someone else is babysitting with her. More likely, I think it's her friend "helloashlea", or Ashlea Mackin-Burke, who is the mom, who took the photo, hence the reason Hayley mentions her. Being around children doesn't always mean you're babysitting. Now, Ashlea's profile only says she's a "mum to a yorkie named Mr. Franks", but it's possible she just hasn't updated her profile to say that her family has expanded. Otherwise her account is private, so we can't snoop any further. LOL Unless they're both babysitting some other mystery mom's kids, but I'm betting they're Ashlea's. Her hyphenated last name indicates there's a husband, which would in turn indicate it's a likely possibility she also has children.

I will bet these babies are twins. John and I had a double stroller (which is still in the attic).

No KID-ding. LOL They certainly do look alike, and most likely both belong to Ashlea, and they're the same age, so, I'm sure you're correct.

Hayley just shared a temporary post on Insta that makes me think she is in NZ, probably for the holidays!

Makes sense. Having been in HK, heading to NZ rather than LA is logical, assuming an Xmas visit was in her plan.
I wonder where she was off to when she posted that picture from LAX a month ago? Contrary to my sleuthing at the time, presumably not NZ unless she's really been putting in the air miles.
devotedfan, where did you find the "Insta" post? I had a look on Hayley's Instagram page about 40 minutes after your post above and there was nothing after yesterday's stairwell photo.

The words "home soil never felt so Good" are on a short video clip of a car traveling along a daylit road driving on the left hand side. Hayley has added a new post of pictures from HK as well. Another mirror shot, there is an AHAMAY piano in the background.

Hi Crissy. If you have a smartphone and you go to Hayley's Instagram page, you tap the Rose photo image at the top left of the page, if there is an "Insta story" a red line starts to circle the Rose image and it opens up the video ready for you to tap the play symbol / arrow pointing right.
On a computer it seems to work differently.
It may help or be necessary to have an Instagram account, I'm not sure which. I set up an Instagram account just to be able to follow the "Insta stories" I do remember it being either difficult or impossible to follow the stories before I had the account, but I also changed over to Windows 10 around the same time.

Here a clip of the Instagram Story video post (out the windscreen!)... The three pics that Hayley posted today of Hong Kong are in a post from that HK concert thread here... hwi.proboards.com/post/181308

The reddish-orange circle appears when there's a new story, if I look using my computer, as well, and of course, I'm logged in when I see it. The circle is always there, but the red goes away after you've watched the story, until the next story appears. And then you can still watch the story as long as it's within the 24 hr. window.
Joe, I like how you use British terms even though you're not British (or are you?)... or do east coast people speak British, too? LOL Windscreen is British for sure (we on the west coast, at least, say windshield). Also, we don't say "period" when referring to Christmas time/the holiday season.
I'm aware that some Americans use the extra "R" sound like British folks do in between vowels, so maybe you all say other British things, too, what do I know? I've never been to the east coast.

Thanks for that help, comet and Libby.
I see what you mean about the red circle. Using my desktop PC running stable and reliable Window 7 & Firefox, clicking in the circle takes me to a page overlay requiring me to log in. Looks like I will need an account to proceed, which to an old luddite like me is a bit bothering. I can't say I'm over-enthused about all this "snappergramabooktwit" stuff! Being somewhat cynical, I'm concerned that if I open such an account, some nefarious-type will be able to read my gas meter remotely – and I don't have a gas supply!
For what it's worth, I recon Joe's turn of phrase is definitely British and therefore not east coast USA. I have been to the east coast, but it was so long ago (time clue – flight was with Laker Airways on a Boeing 707) that I now can't remember how east coast-ers sound short of turning on the TV (yes, I have one of those!).

It's just that I've heard certain folks over there pronounce certain words with the extra R as they do in British accentss. The guy in particular is from Virginia, so over on the east side of the US. He pronounced the word idea, "idea'r". Usually it's when the next word after a word ending in A starts with another vowel. Otherwise, he kind of had a somewhat southern accent, I think.
Cat Deely of So You Think You Can Dance is British, and she's known to introduce a dancing couple as "Jessica'R and... "
