Thanks Comet. I'll take a look.
I got muddled. Clearly "Tim" and "Ian" are two different people.
Thought: to lose one music director, Ms. Westenra, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose two looks like carelessness.

Oh, Crissy, is it really necessary to keep taunting her? I can't even find Tim on instagram anymore. I know I was following him, but his name is no longer on my list (which isn't very long, so I was able to browse through in just a couple minutes as opposed to like 10 with Hayley's LOL). I have not unfollowed him, so I think he's dropped off instagram, or changed his account. But I couldn't find him in a search. I want to say he went by pianotim, or something, but nothing comes up except piano time. LOL I forgot what his wife's name is. Amy something? Something with an A. Aha, yes, it was Amy Ross! I had to do a google search and find her twitter, which had a link to her instagram. And, lo and behold, her most recent story is of a bearded Tim stroking a cat and staring intently at something, probably the TV - oh, excuse me, the Telly, or is it Tele? Anyway, I found evidence of his existence despite no instagram account, and they're still married. Oh, and he appears in a Valentine's day trip to the Dominican Republic. Looks like they've been married, or at least together, for 12 years. Oh, and BTW, I believe Tim is also originally from NZ. Hence their other recent trip to NZ.

the Telly, or is it Tele? Yes, reminds me of a TV programme that the BBC used to broadcast on its Welsh language service called Telewele. We pronounced it "tellywelly" and for some reason found it amusing.

Last time I saw Tim Evans was playing for Chloe Agnew and Will Martin in London nearly two years ago. He didn't have any news of Hayley's album then. It's much longer since I last saw Ian Tilley. He was involved with the (not) All Angels clone group Celeste. Yes they are similar names - both have three letters including an I And they might not both be lost - it's just that Hayley doesn't have much need of a Musical Director when she isn't doing any concerts

Yes they are similar names - both have three letters including an I And they might not both be lost - it's just that Hayley doesn't have much need of a Musical Director when she isn't doing any concerts Yes, I remember you telling me that when you joined me in Salisbury in August 2018, but I wasn't sure if I should be the one to mention it. And I agree, and I probably should have explained more clearly. The reason he's not her musical director, at least at the moment, is simply due to the fact she does not seem to have anything for him to direct, and apparently hasn't in about 2 1/2 years (November 2017 in Taiwan being her last concert). Also, she was in the US for much of that time, and he's in England. I had thought in recent times that Chris might be able to act as director, since he's clearly a musician, as well, but that isn't likely a factor anymore. As mentioned, Tim is from NZ, as is Ian (and who actually lives there). So, if she were to magically decide to have a concert, she may be able to get one of them to do it. Or, as I'm sure there are other music directors in the world, she might be able to find a new one(s). Or, do you think maybe she has enough talent to direct her own music? I think she does. She can play piano and guitar, as well, but not all at once, of course. LOL

Ian Tilley is actually English; his Facebook profile says he is from London. But he is married to a New Zealander and lives near Christchurch, so he might be available should the need arise

The first time I saw Hayley perform, in 2006, she was accompanied by regular musical duo Ian (on piano) and Fiona (on violin). This continued for some time and it was amazing how much these two contributed to the performance. Large orchestral pieces such as “May it Be” still sounded wonderful with just these two highly experienced musicians. And there was Hayley of course! Incidentally, I think 2006 was Hayley’s busiest year for concerts with over 100 worldwide performances. Martin

I was tempted to make a political comment here, but thinking about it it would probably violate forum rules so I won't.
