And SING, hey if your interested in the extinction bit then the Australian Tasmanian Tiger is a perfect example of humans driving a species to extinction hey……..my ancestors literally slaughtered them by the hundreds and the last known one died in a zoo about 50 years ago I believe hey, they were a dog/wolf type breed that had stripes like a tiger, such a shame and such a waste hey….. xxx. Thank you for that Sandy that's been very helpful, I've done some research on the Australian Tasmanian tiger today and I've found a lot of very useful information which I think I can use in my essay- thank you for leading me to it...it is very sad though, how entire species can be wiped out like that best wishes Sing

Thanks for the link Martin,
It seems a very short timescale though, companies moved their order fulfillment operations to the Channel Islands over a period of several years, employing thousands of Islanders in the process. They may now have to reverse it all, though Government announced a review back in February so the shops concerned should have contingency plans. There may be a bit of a furore over the timescale, so I wonder if implementation might be delayed?
It will be sad to see the end of deliveries from Indigostarfish Jersey, on behalf of Amazon, I love that name!

Remember all the sacrifices made in the wars this day.
A special thanks to all the brave U K and U S Armed Forces that together
saved the world from fascism in WW2.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site, but I found this general discussions thread and thought I'd introduce myself ^.^ My favourite genres of music are classical and symphonic metal, and I have been a fan of Hayley for several years now. The first song and video I heard from her was her first Pokarekare Ana on youtube and it went from there! I also love artists such as Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones and Celtic Woman (which Hayley was in for a while). I'm a University Graduate, living with my boyfriend and I'm a soprano singer. Nice to meet you, Jennir

I'm going to miss my annual trip to the U K for Hayley's holiday concerts. First time in four years. Although last Decembers weather was a bit inclement. Still gonnaa miss it.
