Hi
For anybody travelling back to Waterloo after the concert. The last train from Hampton Rail Station is 23.21 hrs. If you have a network railcard a day return is £4.30 but £5 can get you rail travel and also a day travel card for London Underground/Buses. Without a rail card it is £6.50 and £7.50 respectively.
See you there.
cheers
Tony

Hi everyone
I too will be at this concert. I originally thought that I would be away that week but my wife's plans have changed, so I am now free to come to Hampton. I suppose that booking this late means that I will be somewhere near the back row, but what the heck.

Hi Gerald Good to hear that you are coming to this concert. Don't worry about sitting at the back as there are no seats as far as I am aware! Come early and you can join us on the grass at the front. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMartin

Hi everyone,
I will be in London the August 1-2 weekend but I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to this concert. Unless it's not that far from London and easily reachable from the city centre late at night?

Hello Stephany! Hampton is just on the edge of London, and the pool is about a kilometre from Hampton Station where the last train back to Waterloo departs at 23:21. If all else fails, you can still get back to London using the all-night bus network, but I doubt if the concert will finish that late. I hope you can make this one. Love, Richard xxx

Hello Nicola and everybody! I suggest we meet at the Duke's Head pub in Hampton High Street, which is about 100 yards from the pool. I'll be there by 4:00pm. Nineteen days to go! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you there, Richard

I am so gutted to not be going to any of these concerts - there are downsides to living in Cornwall!

Hi Dean
Its nice reading about the experiences of those who have been to concerts though - not the same as actually being there though!!
I'm still waiting for her to come to Cornwall
Cheers

Hi Swimmers! If anyone is still thinking about coming to this event then my advice is not to book your ticket online. It has taken three phone calls and 7 weeks to finally get my ticket in the post after initially buying it mid-May. Mind you, the duty manager at Hampton pool could not have been nicer about it! I had no problems with buying mine online, although I nearly threw mine in the bin by accident. Looks like junk mail, and the tickets look like those cab cards you get through the door!

Hi Richard (and all),
I try to be at Duke's Head pub at 4 pm, too.
See you there,
