Hi Libby! To answer at least one of your questions, we do know about the blue one she wore to meet the Dalai Lama. See below... I think Xterity musn't be doing any more collections... not sure what that means for the label... As for the Royal Variety Performance dress, I'd really love to know about that dress. I thought I found something similar to it, but it is quite different... This is by Reem Acra. www.reemacra.com/Marchesa does beautiful gowns... like this one... I thought that it might have been from that label, but it doesn't seem to be. www.marchesa.com/index.phpHi Libby, Here's another photo of the top of it: I think this dress is by designer La Petite Salope. Hayley has a couple of dresses from that label: www.lapetitesalope.com/Cheers, Jillian

Hi Jillian, Libby and everyone.
I wonder if the RVP dress isn't originally designed and intended as a wedding dress. One or two of my more fancy waistcoats were originally designed as a set for groom, best man and attendants. I just liked them as waistcoats to contrast with my normal wear rather than to wear them as part of a set piece.

it is always possible Hayley is having dresses modified or remade by a friend or amateur dress maker, That will keep you searching for answers forever, Good on her if she is.. Good way of wearing something unique and original.

Oh, yes, now I remember you told us that one a while back. I just forgot. But there is another one we still haven't pinned down yet. The aqu blue one she wore to her first concert in Shanghai, China. She also wore it in Japan, and also at some concerts in 2009. There's a video I had in favorites of her singing I Know You By Heart wearing that dress. It's among my favorite Hayley concert dresses!

The mystery of the purple "stola" designer has been solved, quite easily in fact. It's Joseph Challita, in the same "opera" collection as the pink one! Upon seeing these photos, I'm not sure if you could really call it a stola, but that's what someone told me it was. I guess they posed her to make it look sort of like one! I could only post the thumbnails, but here's the link to the collection so you can see them bigger: joechallita.com/collections-home/opera-collection-2009Now, just be glad she didn't wear this one: i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBut apparently Myleene Klass wore a yellow version once! She wore quite a few dresses of his, actually. Hi Libby! I know I'm a bit slow on the uptake, but good work identifying this Dress! I think I've looked at the Joe Challita collection a dozen times and hadn't spotted It!

Thanks. Maybe the way it's presented is different enough that you don't notice the details at the top right away. And plus the lighting is different than in Hayley's shot, since she's outside there, and the models aren't.

Hello Gillian and everyone.
Perhaps understandably the details of women's attire is not my forte, despite years involved in costume drama. However, I do appreciate the effect of a well presented female form in all its diversity and while your detailed presentations on the hoof I'm sure have fascinated the ladies here, I do very much appreciate the explanations behind your pictures and that you take the trouble to share them with us. What you have presented is a fascinating proof of the multi-talented girl that is Hayley.
Multilingual in her singing; precise, demanding yet malleable in her own field as a singer; a wonderful person with whom to meet as so many of us have been privileged to record and share; and through your most recent endeavours, a girl who, if she hadn't already got a career, could easily have made it on the world's leading cat walks.
This is a fascinating presentation and may I suggest we ought to have a page devoted to Hayley as a fashion model. I cite two reasons. One, it is part of a structured organisation of our tribute to Hayley. Two, it would provide a different angle on Hayley which might introduce her to fashion conscious people who are not necessarily aware of her as a singer.

Hi Postscript! Thanks! It might be fun to finish off what I started with a summary of all Hayley's dresses - but I don't have as much time now as I did 2 years ago. Something to work on possibly! Cheers, Jillian

I think Hayley looks great in all colors but green. Not to say she still isn't beautiful......but green just seems to detract from her beauty. In my opinion.

Jillian, I could help you if you want. I have lots of pictures of Hayley. I have a lot of what you already posted, but I know there are more. At the very least, I could list the ones you haven't posted. I really wish we could find some of the designers though. As for the green dresses, for me it wasn't really the color that was an issue, just the designs that weren't my absolute favorite. The CBA Xterity one just wasn't that exciting for a red carpet dress. Also, the shade of green wasn't the best on her. The darker "Celtic green" one looks better as far as color, but again, I'm not the biggest fan of the design of the straps, or the display of cleavage. The gemstone part at the bodice I like, just not the design of the straps.
