I hope that doesn't mean the forum will get lost again! Martin D

I don't think so, for either forum (you mean the official one, right?). I don't see how they could think Facebook could replace a forum. A forum is to discuss Hayley. On facebook, they just reply to Hayley's messages, and Hayley will probably never see most of them. Facebook certainly can't replace a forum, and shouldn't. Of course this one's still here if all else fails, but at the moment it's the official forum that's the most accessible to fans who visit her official site. I'd like to see them improve the forum along with the new website, not get rid of it. They should at least see how much the new album affects forum attendance. Because I'm sure it'll be busier once the album is out. BTW, Hayley's newest tweets showed up on FB again! It looks like this is the way it'll work from now on.

Hayley posted this message on Facebook approximately 12 hours ago:
My thoughts and prayers go out to the community in Christchurch and also to my friends and family who live there. I was only in Christchurch a few days ago visiting my family, it is now hard to imagine the devastation the earthquake has left behind. I am thankful that my own family are safe and unharmed but pray for everyone who now has to deal with the loss and aftermath of this terrible disaster.

Hi everyone! Hayley's official Fb page has been labelled (mistakenly, by Fb I guess) as a community page rather than Hayley's OFFICIAL page. As a consequence, when you search 'Hayley Westenra' on Fb, you cannot find her page. But at the top of her page, just under her name, there is a little link saying 'Fix this' and giving us the opportunity to alert Fb about this issue. So I suggest that everyone who is a Fb member clicks on this link (afterwards you'll be giving two choices: This is the official Hayley Westenra page // This page is not about Hayley Westenra). I think that if a lot of us do that, there may be more chances that Fb notices the issue and solves it. Thank you! Lots of love, Juliette x

Yes, I saw that. I also noticed it spells her name "Haley". Well, even some fans do that, so a lot of people won't notice.. but Hayley will!
BTW, she posted a new message recently. It was the thing about Paradiso coming out in Australia, and her interviews and such. It's definitely a separate message than her tweet, because she starts it out a little differently than the tweet.

Well, it wasn't nearly that long on Twitter. Nothing about salt in her hair. Has it been hot in the UK? Or was she still in the Malta area?

Hi Libby,
I don't think anyone would describe the last weeks weather in the UK as hot. Very few who went to the beach here would come away with salt in their hair. I think your other idea is more likely. That she stayed over in Malta or perhaps went to France. Certainly I would think somwhere on the Med is favourite.

Well, where we were in Suffolk, we had freezing winds off the sea and horizontal rain. I don't think Hayley was anywhere around there!

Glad to hear Hayley has the sense to stay out of the destructive path of the suns rays. UV is not kind to us fair skinned folk. A "suntan" is just not worth the pain and damage it causes, says he with two swollen sun burnt feet because the water washed the sunblock off

Yes, I wondered about that. I've never seen Hayley with a suntan. Maybe that's the secret of her beautiful complexion.

In her book, she mentioned using sunscreen a lot (when talking about her skincare, I guess). But if she said "obligatory", it would sound as though she was intending to get one. I don't think a tan is the best look for her, anyway. There's nothing wrong with natural skin tone! I wouldn't look right with a tan, and I'm not really interested in getting one, although I don't often use sunscreen. Vitamin D from the sun is very important. Okay, I'll stop going off-topic, now.
