Hi Dean,
Yes it was awesome. The highlight of Hayley's performance for me. And Drew got it on video. It is possible we might be able to download it from iTunes, but Drew got there first.
As I said, my hero.

At other times, when I could use flash, which I refuse to do during a performance even if others behind me had no such scruples. It must be very distracting for the performers. Hi Martin, Thank you very much for your consideration to the performer and I hope that all members will be as thoughtful in future. The fact that other people in the audience (not HWI members) were using flash does not make it acceptable for us to do likewise. In fact, it makes it even worse for Hayley. I would remind everyone that HWI has assured Hayley and Bedlam Management that we will not take photographs with flash during any live performance. Roger

Roger I wasn't aware that there was such a rule but I didn't use flash anyway. I just think it must be really off putting to have lots of flashes hitting you.

Hi Drew
Thanks for all the videos - they really help to bring back memories of a great evening, and Songbird is the icing on the cake.
Kind regards
Colin

Hi Martin! You got some nice shots of Hayley and Raven at the stage door after the concert. They do all seem to get on very well together and I'm sure they will have a lot of fun working together. I would have been interested to see how they all managed to fit into their taxi! Five girls plus driver and instruments and I don't know what happened to Kathryn, she came out with, I presume, one of Hayley's dresses in a carrier and disappeared! Maybe there wasn't enough Champagne to go around so she went home! Best wishes Grant

Thanks for the videos, and for the photos. I really like the ones from the Flickr website. In photo #6, she looks so sad! And I always wonder which songs she's singing with each different expression. I was so excited to finally hear Songbird! Of course, I've heard the clips, but I wanted to hear what the whole song sounds like. Were the lyrics slightly different in the last part of Danny Boy? She sang notes at the end differently, too. It was nice, though. I've noticed in some of your concert videos in the past that she does often sound off on some of the songs, including this one. As an example, Summerfly at Shepherd's Bush; that was a bit too fast. I suppose it's hard to do it perfectly every time, especially a song like that.

Thanks for the photographs, Martin! I think the missing Raven was the viola player, Natalie Holt. I wonder if Hayley and the girls went up to the canal and launched a narrow boat? No, they wouldn't have wasted the champagne like that! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifRichard

Roger Would videographers kindly obscure their "red eyes", just as distracting as a flash. The subject tends to get hypnotised seeing a red light in the darkness of the audience.

Hi everyone,
For copyright reasons and because the iTunes concert is the basis for a forthcoming commercial release, we have decided not to allow links to unofficial recordings made at iTunes Live.
When the iTunes tracklisting is known, we will reconsider and we may then allow links to videos of the other songs.
Many thanks to Drew for your sterling videography but we don't want to ruffle any feathers of the "powers thet be" so thanks for removing the videos.
Paulo, I've removed your link two posts above, for exactly the same reason.
Cheers, Dave

Hi Martin and everybody else, Thank you for sharing all of your superb photographs! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifand another rather poor quality one of Hayley, who by this time had been relieved of the champagne by one of the Ravens Oh yes, it is the one with the bottle. we had better go and find her while there is still some champagne left.... Bye Hayley! Martin Hi Martin, I've heard of "thieving magpies" but it seems that ravens can be just as bad!!! At least the Ravens couldn't steal the show from Hayley though, since they were all in it together... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAndrew

Not that it should be a problem, the iTunes recordings should be of professional quality and worth downloading to anyone who wants them. It was a classic concert after all, and I don't know how anyone could pick the best six out of those 13 songs. Hayley did a brilliant job on all of them. If anything, Drew's videos have whetted my appetite for the iTunes ones, and made it more likely that I will download them. Martin

I keep checking the ituneslive website for news of which 6 she picked but alas there still seems to be no news. They must indeed be having a hard time picking the best 6. A job I wouldn't relish myself.

Martin I totally agree with you, I've downloaded the videos (thanks again Drew) but can hardly wait to download the songs from Itunes. To say the true I have registered on Itunes to download only the songs from this event. It's a shame that I can only buy songs in Itunes Portuguese store, and there are very few results when I search for Hayley's music, so to try it I've downloaded "On My Heart" Live, as I have the "Music of the Spheres" album. It was a relief when I discovered here for download the Itunes Festival from last year. Why don't they release all the 13 songs, It's more easy than pick just 6, and we all could get a new full album recorded live.
