Hi Grant, It's interesting to see that all the classical crossover artists seem to pay a lot of attention to the Japanese market. Blake and Hayley all spent more than one week on the promotion of their respective albums, and now Katherine Jenkins has just arrived in Tokyo to do the same! Lots of love Stephany PS: Thank you -- I'm confident that my last exam will go well Otherwise I wouldn't be browsing HWI

Hello Cherry
Many thanks for finding the link. I've always loved Amazing Grace and it was a big favourite of my Mum's, but I think this is the most stunning version ever.
I loved the setting too and the interaction with Minako on the big screen was very tasteful.
Also looks like Hayley was wearing a dress we haven't seen before. Any comments ladies?
Best wishes Grant

The performance was delightful and Hayley was very respectful of the Japanese audience. Did you also notice that Hayley dropped an octave or two when Minako joined in? Many thanks Cherry Martin

. Did you also notice that Hayley dropped an octave or two when Minako joined in? Martin Yes, I noticed that in the other vid we had of this song too. it isn't often we have heard Hayley take the LOW part when harmonising. But I don't think she had much choice with this one, since the other part was already recorded. Martin

Martin This may be as good a place as any to post that there is a depth and timbre (IMHO) in those low notes that I dont think was there a few years ago. A comparison with the live version of Ave Maria from her Live in New Zealand concert comes to mind.... Jon

Hi everyone, I also like the low notes in this duet. The Japanese audience was very respectful -- I like that! Hayley always seems to come back from Japan with new dresses Stephany

Hi everyone, I only heard this yesterday in the background while working on the computer. Thank you for your comments that made me see it as well !! Yes it was very well stage managed, it is one thing doing it in a studio but another live. Yet another lovely new dress Thanks, Graham

Hi everyone
Great clip - thanks for finding. I also liked Hayley singing the low part - I'm not sure she could have done this so well a few years ago, as her voice matures, she just has more range.
Stephany - I also like the respectfulness of Japanese audiences. I remember my first time at Cadogan Hall, when Hayley was part of a Gala performance and the main soloist was Ingrid Fuxiko Hemming, a wonderful pianist who is part Japanese. A good many of the audience were Japanese and i remember thinking it was a different atmosphere to usual.
Best wishes Mark
