Hi Frauke and welcome to the forum. It's nice to be able to talk to you twice now (here and AAI)! All I can tell you about 'One Fine Day' is that I have heard Hayley sings English lyrics. Roger Hello Frauke and Roger and everyone! I listened to Katherine Jenkins' version of One Fine Day a few minutes ago on my recording of this morning's Classic FM Chart show. It is from Living A Dream and it is the same version (with English lyrics) as Hayley's version on Treasure. The composer is Puccini and it is from the opera Madame Butterfly originally with the Italian name "Un Bel Di" Anyone who knows Katherine's version will realise that at a certain point when they hear Hayley's version, one of the significant differences between the two singers is highlighted. This is something I've seen mentioned in this forum previously (though not by me) and I suspect that it will become obvious from the promotional clip when released. Cheers, Dave

May I just say that I think all bidders on ebay have the right to retain some degree of anonymity. If they are happy to disclose their identity on this forum, that is fine. Hello Roger ! I'd be very happy to disclose the fact that I was the highest bidder on the third auction of a 5-track Treasure promo CD. I'm sure my mates here knew. It was a snip at £47.56 (10 pence above what the 2nd auction went for). I reckon that once I possess the full CD in five or six weeks that I will donate the promo CD to radio airplay in time for the US release (late March ?) We'll see how that goes. Cheers... Joe

Hi Dori, It is amazing how quickly these items become available on ebay. They were only released to the press last week! Good luck to anyone who cares to bid! Roger

Hi Folks. I've been listening to the 5 track promo for the last couple of days........ , It seems to increase in beauty with each listening If the whole album is of the same caliber we are in for a veritable banquet of beautiful music, Hayley's voice is in top form. I can hardly wait to hear the whole album.. comet

Hi all, I've also received my 5-track Treasure promo...just arrived today! One can definitely hear how Hayley's voice has gotten stronger. Some of the songs are arranged with minimal musical accompaniment. 'Danny Boy' really ends on a high note! Oh, but look at the Treasure press kit on auction now. Joe

I'm just wondering: where do people get these promotional CDs from??? Hello Dori, These promotional CD's are usually given to radio stations. Some may be given to record shops, advertising companies, and even soundtrack producers. I truly am enjoying my most expensive and most recent CD purchase...let me say that it was worth every pound. Although now I think I would have fancied the 'Treasure' press pack more. Warmest regards, Joe

Hi Comet,
That's very interesting. Decca, clearly, are monitoring these things carefully - I didn't think they did.
The reason is almost certainly 'breach of copyright' - and an embargo on the release of information, video and audio material.
Cheers, Dave

Hi Comet,
Yeah, I was wondering why the Treasure press pack wasn't listed anymore. I know that some people were quite keen on it.
Glad that Decca stepped in, though, for the reasons that Dave mentioned.
At least we have our 5-track promo CD...I've been listening to it almost constantly !
Regards, Joe

But surely anyone who has the DVDs and CDs etc can post clips on YouTube or whatever any way - what difference does it make to sale the original copies??? Dori
