Hi Andrew and everyone! Congratulations on getting that CD, and thank you SO MUCH for sharing with us! I have to say I'm convinced -- this sounds like Hayley's best effort yet! And the photos are gorgeous, I can't imagine a better photoshoot. I adore the neutral colours. I can't wait! Oksy

It might surprise you to know, Dave, that my connections are already gold-plated! However, Sony's site suggests one wire connects everything these days (their way!). Thanks for the thoughts anyway. Actually, I suspect the rumble is due to echo because of what the table is standing on--and therein leads me to believe I need a bigger place! That would indeed be an expensive hi-fi! Not as expensive hi-fi as an acquaintance known to friends of mine. I never went as, by the time I knew of these activities, there were too many regulars booking, but he was a sound engineer and determined (and could afford) to have what he considered was something you can't beat! He built his own concert hall on the end of his house. Could seat 50 or so, to help defray the costs of hiring the musicians and could accommodate a small orchestra. The inside was apparantly filled with all sorts of acoustic tiles, baffles etc, adjustable according to audience size to make allowance for their 'deadening' effect and the sound from the players! Now that REALLY IS HI-FI! Peter S.

Andrew, Is One Fine Day the version that Katherine Jenkins sang? Hi Meagan, I don't know... 'One Fine Day' must be on 'Living a Dream' (which I didn't buy! ) It certainly isn't on 'Premiere' or 'Second Nature'. I'm sure Hayley's version of 'One Fine Day' will "blow all the others out of the water!!!" Regards, Andrew That sounds great! One Fine Day (the one Katherine Jenkins did) is such a gorgeous song... I'm just trying to imagine how it sounds like when Hayley sings it. This must be absolutely wonderful! (BTW, you can listen to a sample of Katherine Jenkins singing One Fine Day here at amazon.de (it's song no. 4)) Frauke

Just watched the final bidding on Ebay for the second 5 track promo CD.
It went for £47.56!!
Bidding was frantic in the last few seconds - rising from £36.00 where it had been since 14th January!

Hi Frauke and welcome to the forum. It's nice to be able to talk to you twice now (here and AAI)! All I can tell you about 'One Fine Day' is that I have heard Hayley sings English lyrics. Roger

There is a four track promo cd on ebay now! Anyone bidding for it?

By the way Andrew, is 'let Me Lie' a song co-written by Hayley?

May I just say that I think all bidders on ebay have the right to retain some degree of anonymity. If they are happy to disclose their identity on this forum, that is fine. Otherwise, I would appreciate it if other members did not divulge such information whether it be obvious or an inspired guess. Let us try to respect one another's privacy a little bit.
Thanks, Roger

I haven't mentioned any bidders which obviously can be seen on the website and are strictly nicknames.

Well Jon, shortly before I made that simple request *somebody* had named a possible bidder. Within minutes, that same member had deleted their post as though trying to pretend that it had never been said. Nevertheless, it shows up in the Security Log.

It seems that people don't understand my humor and I'm just wasting my time. It makes no difference anyway the bidding is over tomorrow.

It is nothing to do with humour; it is a matter of respect for other members' privacy whchi I don't think is too much to ask. It is for everyone's benefit, including yours. The duration of the bidding for a particular item also has no bearing on the matter.
