Hi Jon, Yeah, I realise that but those two additional tracks are supposed to be exclusive to iTunes! Roger

I can't see them Roger, just the usual 15 tracks. I hope they do come to other digital stores though, 'Jekyll' sounds intriguing. EDIT: There appears to be two links, one of them has the extra tracks! I might be able to get them on Napster!

Just listened to them: 'I'm Kissing You' is beautiful. 'Jekyll' could be from the upcoming BBC TV drama starring James Nesbitt.

Your kidding me? It is? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIf anybody watches it who knows nothing about Hayley will be listening to that theme tune every time it comes on! They will probably look at the credits to see who it is. Viola! New Hayley fans! I've listened to the extended clips and I think there is one song I don't like. The folk songs have grown on me and I love them!!!!

I love them all, which is so cool, because on her past cds, there have been a few I absolutely don't like (like Benedictus and Quanta Qualia).

I'm not keen on Santa Lucia. It doesn't matter though considering my initial reaction to the album. I am happy! Thank you Hayley!

Hi 1littlegirl Yes, I agree, my first reaction is that Summer Fly is sort of country. I like this song though, because I am a fan of some country artists, particularly those who sing mainly ballads. It also has quite an Irish/Celtic feel to it as well. You are right though, it is catchy Best wishes Mark.

I was used to slower versions by megastars of years gone by (Benjamino Gigli, Mario Lanza and many others since then) and Hayley's much more up-beat arrangement puzzled and concerned me. However, Hayley's version has grown on me to the extent that now, it's right in the middle of the pack as far as my favourites is concerned. I didn't expect it to grow on me so much, I really didn't! Now, I think it's wonderful that Hayley is brave enough to put her own stamp on many of these tracks, with 'different' versions that she will "own". I suspect, Jon, that you may encounter a similar effect, in due course... Cheers, Dave

Hi All, The first time I heard 'Treasure' I was sitting in Edinburgh's 'Sheraton Hotel' close to the Usher Hall one evening after a hard day at Uni, enjoying a pot of fresh coffee and a smoked salmon sandwich (just to celebrate!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif) I though to myself... I will always remember where I was the first time I ever listened to 'Treasure' so I may as well be somewhere rather special as well! I listened to the CD on my laptop (with little earphones) I think 'Santa Lucia' works really well... I love the tempo of this song and the whole general Neapolitan flavour of the song! It helps to break up some of the slower numbers on the album. I was familiar with the tune anyway (like Dave is) but Hayley's version is a dream boat! Andrew

Hi Andrew,
I am inclined to agree with your views on 'Santa Lucia' even though I was nowhere near Edinburgh when I first heard it!
When I first saw it on the tracklisting, it wasn't one that I was wildly excited about, but it is a delightful version that brings new life into the song. The musical backing (classical guitar and mandolin) works really well.
Roger
