Hi All
I too enjoyed the chat on Friday evening. It was great to be able to speak together about our common interest. Also to think of all the different time zones (US, NZ and UK) we were covering. It certainly is a small world now! This was my online chat debut and took me a while to get the pace. I found that my typing speed made it look like I was replying to the wrong subject! I will need lots of practice, especially if more join in next time. So thanks, Belinda for orgainising this and thanks to all of you who joined in.
Regards,
George

Belinda's chat.
Delighted to hear from George's enthusiastic report that the chat was so successful. I judge that on the fact George said he had difficulty in keeping up and seemed to be replying to the wrong subject through his slow keyboarding! :je Now that sounds Iike a real live forum. Sorry i missed it in the end.

Delighted to hear your report on the chat and sorry I missed it. I can't think how or why it went out of my head, purely preoccupation and I am sorry.
So, yes, please post here, it would seem the best place to announce it, say a week ahead, which which I think is what happened this time. From my personal view point and envisaging timing between here and NZ it seemed a good time, Saturday morning for NZ (so no work day) and Friday night UK sounds good.
That makes it 5:00pm Eastern seaboard--people travelling home from work (bad) and people still working in California but possibly taking time out in the office?
A thought. From what little i know of these things individually you can record your conversation. Can all members individually record a copy of the whole interactive chat?
If this was cut and pasted into a Word doc it could then be shared with those who were unable to participate. Perhaps posted on the forum?

Hi All
As one of those involved in this chat and as it was my first time in a chat room, I would just like to say that I really enjoyed it. By joining in and talking with other people who all have a common interest -Hayley of course, it just makes you feel that much closer to her and part of the team !
I will certainly be looking out for the next one.
Best wishes Mark.

So if in the Uk Friday 29th September 10 pm NZ Saturday 30th September 9am Below are the times for the US. East: 5pm Central: 4pm Mountain: 3pm West: 2pm I'm also thinking of going back into the chat room again at 12 noon and see if anyones there maybe a chance for some people who could not male earlier chat to talk. Hi Belinda!
The day is marked on my calendar. I know I'm still in school at 4pm, and as long as I'm not working I should be able to make it to the chat around 5pm. If I am working, I'll just hope to see everyone at the chat in October.
And for those of you wondering what the times would be in the US (Friday Sept 29th) when Belinda goes back on at 12 noon... East: 8pm Central:7pm Mountain:6pm West:5pm

I dont think I can join. The whole Net Passport security thing is pretty harsh. You need to create a long unusual password and have to keep changing it every so often.
