I believe you're over reacting. The pics are all of the fun & friendship type. They're no more sinister than my current banner you see below and she actually orchestrated the pics. Hi Graeme, Nobody is suggesting that you have done anything sinister, it's just one of those things. The pics in your banner are from a public event whereas at least some of the Facebook pics in question are from her personal life and were posted in what we believe was originally her private Facebook space (which somehow seems to have become public recently). We suspect that Hayley is not aware of the change in her Facebook settings (made by Facebook, I am told) so until we find out, we are exercising caution. The other aspect is that some of Hayley's personal friends are shown in these personal photos, which increases the risk that Hayley (and/or they) may not want them to be shown widely. We will, of course, try to clarify the situation as soon as the opportunity arises but in the meantime, let's just post some more funny pics. Dave

Hi Graeme, I did enjoy seeing the pictures while they were here. It shows a side of Hayley that we don't often see and it eases one of my concerns. Hayley works so hard at her profession and her charity work that I fear she doesn't take time to be a normal young person. I'm glad to see that she can hang out with her "buds" and have a good time. Our daughter is about Hayley's age and I often see similar antics from her and her friends. Very refreshing. Thanks, Bill Thanks Bill, You've expressed my own reaction to the pics....they represent the very lovable & playful offstage Hayley. Graeme

I am member of Hayley Westenra's group, and I've never found those photos, so I'm still confused. As much as I enjoyed seeing those photos, it didn't seem right to post them without her permission. Especially since they are not readily accessible to everyone. Graeme, the photos in your banner were taken by you, weren't they? So, of course you can post your own photos. Hayley obviously knew you were taking them, and didn't seem to object to it.

I think we need to be very careful. Hayley is usally pretty relaxed about photos and videos of her public performances and before and after show chats with her fans. But if it involves her personal life and her friends it could be different. We need to ask her. Her friends might not like it.
And yes, my daughter too has photos of her enjoying herself with her friends. They are innocent fun, yet she has the choice about whether to post them on Facebook and who sees them. We should extend the same choice to Hayley.
I think that Hayley's tolerance of we photographers is a wonderful privilege, and I for one like to turn the tables by using my photos and videos to try to promote her. It seems her record company can't be bothered. She is after all the finest singer I have ever heard. She deserves huge success, and the world deserves her music to be brought to its attention so that more people can enjoy listening to her magnificent voice.
But she also has a right to a private life that remains private, and we should respect and support this. So we should not be trying to dig into it, or publish anything that Hayley has not at the very least been given the chance to object to. Even though as I'm sure they do (I haven't looked) they simply show Hayley enjoying herself with her friends.
We can easily talk to Hayley via Twitter now, so we can ask her directly how she feels about things like that coming into the public domain. If she feels strongly about something, I'm sure she would reply. I think we should at least give her the chance.

Hi MartinD, The pics are now hidden from "our" view. Hayley obviously didn't see them as "for everybody". Ah well....there you go !! Shame really. Graeme

Hi Jill and all, Due to the lack of caption`s here are three attempts,
"I`m not a beefeater but I do have my own guardsmen"
"Right lads, take that Katherine Jenkins to the tower"
"The tracks on my new album are a closely guarded secret".
Regards, Stephen.

It looks more like they're about to take her to the tower, and she has a thing or 2 to say about it!

Here are some great photos I found on the BBC Radio Wales 2007 concert. I know the last one is by Grant, but not sure about the first two. I think they might be Steve's; or maybe Stuart's. Anyway, they all deserve a caption! I love this one, especially! This is certainly a rare shot! Apparently Grant said he thought he'd cut off her feet in the photo he'd taken just before. But Grant, I don't think you usually include her feet in most of your photos, anyway, so it seems funny to me that you were concerned about that.

Hi Libby That certainly was a great night - we had Hayley all to ourselves for a fair while and she loved it. The rolled eyes were in response to a comment I don't remember from someone else that the camera just managed to capture I love this one, especially! This is certainly a rare shot! Apparently Grant said he thought he'd cut off her feet in the photo he'd taken just before. But Grant, I don't think you usually include her feet in most of your photos, anyway, so it seems funny to me that you were concerned about that. Yes, you're right Libby, I don't often do full length pictures, BUT it is very bad photographic practice, when you do intend to capture a full length image to then cut part of it off! That's what I meant by my comment. Best wishes Grant P.S. Thanks for reminding us of that great night! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Yes, I just read, and related, the comment to which she rolled her eyes at. About cutting off her feet. At least that's what was written in the post. Which I believe was yours. Full length photos are nice sometimes, especially for those of us who like to see her outfits, not just her makeup, hair, and earrings. Those are all very pretty things, too, of course.
