Well, as self appointed adjudicator for the Dorset (UK) region, the panel, well ok then me, has (me has ?)- I have awarded Belinda the award of "Hayley collection to die for".
I am not going to bore anyone with my list after reading of other member's collections, but suffice it to say that the items and the memories are very special to me and beyond price.
The only thing I will say is, if any kind soul living in the New Zealand area in general, or Christchurch in particular might come across a copy of "Walking in The Air" I would give them a Queen's ransom for it ! Ok maybe a few dollars BUT my eternal gratitude.
Ps Did anyone mention the VERY special HWI Staff Member sweatshirt in Blue ? Now that IS special !
I saw and met Hayley for the ninth time at St. Mary's Church in Banbury last night, and I have a new brochure which Hayley signed for me. I have updated my list in an earlier post. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
I've just bought "A Classic Christmas", a new double CD compilation on the UCJ label released in the UK today. Hayley is featured on two duets, "Silent Night" with Aled Jones, and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" with the Choirboys.
Among the other seasonal offerings are "O Holy Night" by Katherine Jenkins, "White Christmas" and "Mary's Boy Child" by Bryn Terfel, and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.
I've updated my master list, and I'll listen to the CDs later.
