I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post so mods - please move it as needs be.
I seem to remember that at the beginning of this year the number of members here was around 225-230, and now there are nearly 290. Maybe 60-odd doesn't seem a large increase, but in percentage terms it's around 25-30%.
This seems to me great news, for both Hayley and HWI. We may not be up there with Coldplay, or even with Leona Lewis, but for an artist of Hayley's genre I think this is certainly a move forward.
If only there were some car stickers so everyone stuck behind me on the M3 every morning knew about HWI...
Your memory serves you well. On 1st January this year, we had 232 members so the increase is very pleasing. Equally pleasing is the fact that almost 60 per cent of our members have logged in within the last 30 days. That, I suspect, is a far higher proportion than a good many forums. We like to see members logging in frequently. Even if they don't post, it is nice to know they are around.
I look forward to a huge increase in our membership levels during 2009!

The other thing that strikes me is the level of contribution from a large percentage of the members.
When I reached 500 posts (not sure exactly when as I was on 'dial-up' when I joined - but it was almost certainly during the first half of 2007) I was only the fifth or sixth Maestro - now there are 22 of us!
