Hehe Richard, Can't you adjust the time in the opposite direction? That would by now only cover 10time zones. Or will that mean you'll be an entire day out of sync ? Gerrit

Hello Gerrit! Adjusting the time the other way would indeed throw all the dates out. That probably wouldn't matter too much, but who cares anyway? Incidentally, the clock is now nearly 14 hours slow, so it must be losing about 30 minutes every day! Best Wishes, Richard

Hello folks! This is definitely worth sharing, if only for the laugh. The clock on Hayley's official forum is now 13½ hours slow, which means I can no longer correct the forum time by altering the setting in my profile. There aren't enough time zones left! The same applies to All Angels' official forum. Perhaps I should have posted this in the 'What Makes You Laugh?' thread! Richard Surely the visual clock is geared to the server clock? Was the server about to go down in a major way? Peter S.

HI, from what I have heard there appears to a quantum singularity time dilation effect happening. It was caused by an apple the forum administrator was eating - it contained a wormhole!

Incidentally, the clock is now nearly 14 hours slow, so it must be losing about 30 minutes every day! Richard, Your observation about the time clock over there is actually very astute! You posted the above message on the 1st of June, and it is now just a couple of days beyond the 15th of June (i.e., two weeks later)... And... it appears that the clock on that Official Forum server is now approximately 21 hours slow!It DOES indeed appear to be "losing" about 30 minutes every day! Fourteen days at 30 min./day would indeed account for a loss of an additional 7 hours! Another 4 more days from today, and it'll come up to exactly 24 hours slow -- an entire day! (Hey, then at least the time will be correct -- for a few minutes -- even if the date will be wrong!!!) Why the devil don't they fix it? The "obsessive-compulsive" in me finds this sooooo annoying!!! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifEven MORE remarkable is the fact that when I did a search of the entire forum over there... I could not find even a single thread which mentioned the faulty time clock. None of the users over there are complaining? Everybody just ignores it?

Hello Susan! It's good to see you posting again. As for the official forum, I know several members are now finding it impossible to log in there, but why worry when we're all having so much fun here? Most of the active members there have now joined us anyway! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes from London, Richard

Most of the active members there have now joined us anyway! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHello Susan, Richard and everyone! Early last week I contacted the webmaster of the official forum to point out the problems several (or many!) members there were having in logging in. He promised to ask the server team to take a look at it and your message Richard reminded me to check if it worked, which I have just done. The good news is... it worked and for me anyway the official forum is now fixed, I can log on there again What is interesting is that I had previously requested and received several "lost password" reminders (password resets) but none of those work... it is only my original password (before they upgraded the official forum) that works. I would appreciate it if some of you who have been unable to log on to the official forum, not even after requesting password reminders or resets, would now check again and report your results in this thread. Then, I will let the webmaster know if it worked for all or most members who were previously having trouble. The first thing to try and log in with is your original password! Thanks, Dave

Thanks Dave. Nope, still doesn't work for me. My original password doesn't match and I cannot receive a new one. Roger

They have recently changed the titles on the official website due to a bit of fuss! You are now known as a Treasure Trove, Roger! I've just checked your profile Roger and it says you were last online 11th June.

Hi Dave, I followed your instructions and type in my old password, but it failed to log me in. However, when I tried to type in the new password that I got about two weeks ago, it worked! Thank you for contacting the webmaster. Raymond

Its not something to do with the web browser you use is it? The Official forum might be optimised for Mozilla Firefox, and the bug may have been IE orientated which might explain why not everyone was experiencing the problem. But I'm guessing, Yabb is bugged beyond belief.

Good try, Jon but I have tried logging in with IE and Mozilla Firefox to no avail. Roger

Hi, A while ago, I had trouble logging in to the 'official' website. Can't say it bothered me much though. After the updating of the site, it seems that the link that I had previously been using successfully no longer worked! Eventually!!!! I found I could log in successfully on this link: bb02.sov.uk.vvhp.net/hayleywestenra/YaBB.plMaybe that will help ... HWI Forum has no real competition though! Paddy

Crazy. I tried it again and it worked. My problem now is that there are about 3,000 new posts to trawl through. If somebody would care to supply a link to the one that is worth reading, you could save me a lot of time! Only kidding, Decca, honest! Roger
