Hi Comet,
I think many of us feel much the same way about the official forum. In the past, we posted selective items there and then gave a link to HWI for further details. More recently, we have become so disillusioned with the quality of posts made by other members that we, like so many highly respected members, have almost abandoned it.
At least we appear fairly prominently on the Links page at hw.com:
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to ensure that their forum is maintained in the way we would wish and I suppose, from time to time, we will continue to post a few items in the hope that more people will come to know HWI. What we have never been prepared to do is to post so much that we end up with two virtually identical forums.
Roger

I would also like to see HWI mentioned on CD's along with HW.com. However, the comment that Roger has highlighted says to me that the owners/operators of the official site know they lacking in many ways. Perhaps we could put in a take-over bid! Best wishes Grant

I went the route that comet was pointing out. I agree that it has its problems(Such as it will not let me sign up) I would post as comet does, but cannot.
The only reason That I could find HWI is because I know how to search the internet. It was my job for many years. But people that don't know how will only go to the HW forum and would miss out on allot of info.
When it was going down all the time I looked into where it was and who ran the tech side. Sad to say but it is a large Tech firm and these off line problem and security issues should not happen.
As for the forum you would think that even Steve A. would be disappointed with whats going on there. I mean no newsletter/blogs, out of date info etc. it is hard to promote someone with this level of service or work.
Starbuck P.S I had my own internet consulting company as well!!

I would also like to see HWI mentioned on CD's along with HW.com. Ah, but that would effectively make us an official site and Decca would therefore want control to which we would never agree. I discussed this years ago with Steve A who would fully support the idea but it is not likely to happen. Roger

Hi Comet, At least we appear fairly prominently on the Links page at hw.com: Roger And it is where it should be at the top of the fan site links and they moved the fan site that was at the top that is now virtually UN attended run by someone who will remain nameless and put them at the bottom of the list unfortunately they moved me down with them OMG I don't mind nearly being bottom of the list, but get me away from that guy what an insult. (A few disagreements in the past ) to those who don't know the history.. Hayley Westenra Worldwide One of the very first fan sites dedicated to Hayley i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBelinda

Hi all,
I haven't visited the forum on Hayley's official site for a long time...due to many of the reasons previously mentioned.
Yeah, Belinda has had her Hayley Westenra Worldwide long and strong.
Also Belinda has, I think, been one of the first members on this forum just over four years ago.

Hi Folks. there were nearly 2000 members this morning now there are 1655 300 members culled, many of the listed members have never posted. But it just goes to show the interest was there or people would not have made the effort to join in the first place. I see some of us have been made ex members, Huh ! The cheek of some people and most of my PMs have gone too

Hi Comet Your post 205 prompted me to make one of my rare visits to the Official Forum. The first post I read said "I want to marry Hayley" I think that says enough about the official forum, don't you? Best wishes Grant
