Last week David showed me the pilot's logbook which he carefully maintains and updates before and after every flight. David suggested a brilliant idea last week- in the future he may very well consider organising a sponsored flight in order to raise money for charity.
David will no doubt review this thought and will know when the time is right for this though!
As one who has enthusiastically declared his support and appreciation for the skirl of the Scottish pipes, maybe I can get away with this one (even if technically it ought to be under 'What Makes You Laugh'... and bein a Sassenauch (if I've spelt that correctly?
Do you know why pipers always walk or march when playing the bagpipes?
Answer in next post.
Her eyes were the blue of cornflowers that dance amongst ripening wheat, Her hair the colour of golden sands bleached by summer's heat.
A sponsored flight for charity would be a great thing to do once I have my licence, depending of course on when that is! Such flights are indeed officially sanctioned, as usual covered by various rules etc., but well worth doing!
