To see Hayley in concert is one of the great joys in life, A banquet of the most beautiful voice in the world, 2 hours of heaven that seem to flash past in a moment as if just a dream , At times during a concert you might feel as if you are the only one there and Hayley is singing just for you, Hayley looks into your eyes, reaches out her hand in your direction and sings as if there is no one else around but you and reaches deep into your soul. For a while everything else in the world just disappears, there is nothing else except for this beautiful voice......... A very nice sentiment Comet and one with which I wholeheartedly agree! I've often wondered whether there are actually 100 verses and, if there are, if Hayley knows them all. (Yeh, she would do wouldn't she!) Best wishes Grant ...I couldn't have put it better myself, Comet! I remember Hayley saying that the doors were locked before singing Shenandoah...and I think she said before her second encore that its getting late, we might want to get home etc (can't remember the exact words, but i think it was along those lines).... ...But how can we get home Hayley, if the doors were locked?! I wouldn't have minded hearing those 100 verses

I've often wondered whether there are actually 100 verses and, if there are, if Hayley knows them all. (Yeh, she would do wouldn't she!) Grant There probably are. I would not be surprised. I haven't found any documentation to support it, yet. (But I'm sure Hayley has done her research). Shenandoah has so many versions and variants, since it is questioned who/what Shenandoah is. Some say it is a river or valley or some other geographical location. Others say it is an Indian chief. I doubt that the hundred verses were sung at one time. But I'm guessing that if you collected all the different verses from the various versions, you could get 100 verses. An internet search for the lyrics of Shenandoah gives you quite a variety. Here's some interesting info on the song: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oh_Shenandoahwww.answers.com/topic/shenandoah-folk-song?cat=entertainmentchoralnet.org/resources/viewResource.phtml?id=1501&category=12

Hi Graham, Hayley (her face in particular) was glowing like an angel from heaven when they didn't zoom close enough! After all, a concert of Hayley's sounds complete only after the audience has heard her sing Pokarekare Ana; it has long become her signature theme, I think. Cheers, Tin

Just added by Rosegrower on YOUTUBE ....... © HWI Graham Graham, now that Mark has safely delivered my DVD into Hayley's hands I thought that it was time to spread the word on Youtube. Hopefully it will extend Tim's national publicity of both Hayley (and HWI). With best wishes, rosegrower.

How long does a post stay on the forum?

Hi Larry,
I'm not sure why you're asking this in the Belfast thread but, basically, a post will remain on the forum indefinitely unless one of the moderators has reason to delete it. If you wish to discuss this topic at length, please feel free to start a new thread on the Technical Support board.
Thanks, Roger

Again prompted by a conversation with Ray I found this information: Fact not FictionStarring our very own Gordon and other International members of HWI who just happened to get in the way of the camera! Ray normally drives his Voyager. Whilst in Northern Ireland Bedlam hired a Range Rover to ferry the team from Derry to Belfast. There is a scene where we see inside the Range Rover. Apparently it was quite a tight fit! Ray is also quite handy with an iron! Let us hope that it is an International release so that we can contribute to Hayley's/UNICEF's Play Pumps project, Internationally.

Now I did not realise that Kate Garbutt was a singer: Kate's BioWe were standing together in the signing queue at the Belfast Waterfront, testing each other on facts from "In Her Own Voice" whilst we waited. Kate holding tight on her copy of IHOV (Thanks to Comet).
