Hi Stephany You got me! I was actually quoting trains to Manchester Airport for Thomas. You are quite right, there is currently a 2255 train to Manchester onlyHowever, this is in the current timetable which will have changed by next April. However, as it is a 'last train' it should still run i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifLove Grant P.S. It's maybe a ten minute uphill walk to the station, but I,m sure someone will give you a lift if necessary!

Hi Grant, Oh I see! Sorry for the confusion between Manchester and Manchester airport. Even if the concert starts at 8pm, I can leave at 10:30pm and still arrive just in time for the last train. It should give me enough time to enjoy the concert and, hopefully, say a quick 'hi' to Hayley afterwards. I checked the Buxton Opera House website and most of the concerts start at 7pm or 7:30pm. With luck, it will be the same for Hayley's. The only thing I'm afraid of is my 'after-concert' state of mind. I will be totally 'westenwowed' and the risk that I get lost in the streets of Buxton is very high! Nah, just kidding - I should be okay Thank you for the help, Grant! Love, Stephany

I was actually quoting trains to Manchester Airport for Thomas. Hi Grant! Nice that you think of me. But I'm almost sure that I unfortunely can't make it to this one. In post #23 in the Llandudno Theatre thread you can read why. Thomas

Hi Everyone Don't know whether anyone else is experiencing problems using the link provided by Stephany but I get an "Apache 2 Test page" which I then have to highlight the address bar and enter again to access the actual site. Them click on 'what's on' . To see April, click on "What's on at a glance" on the first line under the title, scroll to the bottom and click on '3' then scroll down to April. Then you'll see that Hayley's concert isn't listed yet!! But we'll keep trying won't we!!Best wishes Grant

Hello Grant, I tried to click on the link and I have the same Apache 2 test page. Very strange. We just need to keep looking at their website to see when the tickets are on sale because I suppose this event will be a quick sell out! Especially because we want front row seats, don't we? Stephany

Hello Grant and Stephany! To access Buxton Opera House's website quickly, just remove the final / in the Address bar, so the url looks like this:- www.buxtonoperahouse.org.ukThere's clearly a glitch in the system that should be sorted soon. I've tried to post a direct link to 'What's On', but it tells me I'm not authorised to view the page. Strangely, I picked up the url by viewing the page:- www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk/whats-on/Richard

Hi All.
Still not `circulating', I am afraid but one of my all too infrequent drop-ins. Gosh. We are already talking about summer 2008 and we haven't yet finished summer 2007--or what there was of it!
I can't remember where she was or when now--oh gosh, was it as long ago as 2006, was it Skipton? It was a brass band anyway--but while up there it was over the period of the extended Gilbert and Sullivan Festival they hold in Buxton when i went to one of their shows while up there for Hayley. It is indeed a lovely renovated original Victorian theatre. She will love it.

RED ALERT Tickets are now on sale from the box office on 0845 1272190 (not yet available online). Top price tickets are only £25 and if you want stalls seats then the box office advises to avoid the first two or three rows as the stage is raised. Good luck everyone. Martin

Thanks for the very important alert I've got my ticket! I'm in the stalls, E27 (fifth row, the very kind man from the box-office told me it's in the center). Are you also in the stalls, Martin ? Edit : Tickets are now available online on this website (go to April 2008). Here is a seating plan: Stephany i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

I asked for a center seat and E27 is not in the center so it's very possible that I have E17. Not sure of the number but I'm definitely in row E and I think there was a 7 somewhere Here is a detailled seating plan from www.all4access.comStephany
