Hello everybody! I'm opening a separate thread from the 'Japanese Treasure Tour' to post the Japanese press coverage that is not strictly related to Hayley's concerts. Hopefully there will be lots of new things to add here in the next few days & weeks. - Hayley is currently in Tokyo for promotional purposes. - She performed live on the popular radio program J-Wave (81.3FM) on Friday November 2, 2007 (well...today! ) - The recording was not in the usual studios of the radio channel but in a marquee as part of Tokyo Designer's Week 2007. - Hayley was interviewed by Mibu Minami - She performed live 'Amazing Grace' and 'The Water is Wide' More information and pictures on www.j-wave.co.jp (the site is in Japanese so you might have some trouble to find your way. I'm posting the pics below anyway!): Stephany

Red alert for Akito and our Japanese members[/color] (or should I say amber alert? : Hayley is going to be on TV Asashi on December 2, 2007. It's a pre-recorded show. I have no idea if she's performing or not. Could be just an interview. Or both More information (in Japanese) on www.tv-asahi.co.jp/daimei/html/onair/next.html. Best wishes, Stephany

More information and pictures on www.j-wave.co.jp (the site is in Japanese so you might have some trouble to find your way. I'm posting the pics below anyway!): Great work Stephany, as per usual. But never mind the frock and necklace, where have Hayley's curls gone? You see, I'm a man and I've noticed something about Hayley's appearance. Regards Bill The quote tags have been corrected. HI Bill and welcome to the forum! I think Hayley has straight hair naturally; she just gets it curled for her shows. When i met her at the Auckland CD signing, she had straight hair too. I think she's beautiful no matter what, though. And yes! It's great to say guys picking up on fashion and appearance too! Not many do, believe me... :2fun:

How can I resist this one I suppose it is that blokes look beyond the outer appearance for the deeper meaning, the true person beneath the outer shell, the inner beauty rather than just the physical existence. comet

Hi everyone, I have just watched the TV program (more than once) which Stephany had so kindly informed us of. As Stephany had said, it was a pre-recorded show of a short concert, which I think was held in Tokyo some weeks ago. Hayley sang following songs on this show: Amazing Grace Scarborough Fair / Pokarekare Ana / Nada-Sousou Caccini's Ave Maria (duet with Tomotaka Okamoto) These are probably the most famous of her songs in Japan, I believe. But is was interesting that the three songs played in the middle were named "Hayley, History Medley" and actually played as a medley. Each songs representing different countries, and their nature, perhaps? Scarborough Fair (Ireland/UK) Pokarekare Ana(NZ) Nada-Sousou(Japan) Though it was a brief, 30-minutes show, Hayley talked quite a lot between the performances and she made me laugh several times using her newly learned Japanese words. Hayley had said one important thing, like "I'd like to sing many other Japanese songs, because they are very moving". So, right now I am thinking hard what songs from our country will be fitted for her to sing. Maybe, 'Furusato (Homeland)' is a very natural choice?

Hi Akito! Thank you for this review! It's always nice to hear Hayley talk in different languages especially when she speaks your native language. Not many artists do that. It shows how special and down-to-earth she is. She's very considerate of doing everything correctly! Thomas
