Thanks for the video Jillian. I agree about the dress - it really does sparkle but Oh dear! :-/ whose idea was it to put that stupid advertising logo block thingy on the microphone. It covered Hayley's face half of the time and must have made the mike difficult to handle for her, yet the male performer didn't have to put up with such an incumberance!

There's quite a queue for Hayley's signing too. I noticed one chap in the line had a folding stool or something - no doubt to sit on whilst waiting. Suggests that some people may have waited quite a long time to meet Hayley :D

Well, it certainly achieved its purpose! I don't think I could forget that it was a BMW event if I tried! But I guess sponsoring Hayley's tour makes up for it! :)

Nice videos! BTW Libby they sang Canto Della terra in that clip, she was singing "Stalinascosto....XD" It was so awesome XD I loved that song so much when they both performed, I'd luv to have a full version of that XD

Thanks Jillian for the photos, but yes Grant I agree, they are ruined by the idiotic BMW block on the microphone.

I assume that Hayley and her management were caught by surprise and that it won't be allowed to happen again, it is ridiculous for a performing singer to have to put up with that, even at a promo event.

thanks for these photos Jillian... personally I think Hayley did well coping with that microphone in some ways it's pretty distracting-from her-and I think I would find it really annoying! I don't think it was necessary to be honest especially after seeing the background presentations in the videos of Hayley singing you can't really miss BMW lol

No, it's mounted on the body of the mic well behind the active head. But if it slid about it could have created extraneous noises. That's why it was taped securely underneath - you can see the black tape in one shot.
But I agree it was grossly oversized and must have been very off-putting to the user. Not a good advertisement for the brand.

Hi Grant,

Yesterday I asked that question in a tweet, and spiderman replied that according to mna.com, BMW are sponsoring the tour. But I can't get very far with mna's website, so couldn't confirm it for myself.
