Hi Jillian,
Thanks for that. Interesting interview. She mentioned touring China!! WOW, that would be quite something.

Thanks Jillian!
Yes she did mention China, and she didn't obvioiusly mean Taiwan so that could be interestting!
She made it clear that the new album is definite, when she returns to the UK... although we will I suspect have to wait quite a while for the details.
Cheers, Dave

I was able to download and play it. But the playback is sped up, distorting the sound and making everyone sound like chipmunks.

Hi All, sorry about that. Hmmm !! My original file plays fine. I'll just check a downloaded one & if it sounds distorted I'll upload it again & post the new link. Graeme PS Have downloaded from mediafire & the downloaded file still plays perfectly. Actually Hayley refers to her Queenstown gig as a "corporate gig". Didn't notice that yesterday. I use VLC mediaplayer as my main player but I'll just try a couple of others. Be right back So here's the result: Windows Media Player fine Quicktime Player "chipmunks" Real Player fine Itunes plays about 4x too fast Easiest is to download VLC Player & install it but you could try updating whatever versions of players that you have & trying again. PPS I notice 20 downloads have been made of that file....are the rest of you able to listen to it?

Thanks for that Graeme.
It sounds like a lot of effort is going into the new album. That might mean a lot of new Hayley composed songs. It might mean money is being spent. We have no real idea about release dates, but I would expect there will be tours in various countries to promote it. But it seems it will take as long as it takes to get it right. That is good news, it means Decca might be taking Hayley seriously again.
The one hope I have is that it will be properly promoted this time. I'm sure that it will be a wonderful album, and perhaps one that will show the world how Hayley has grown since Pure. As long as the world gets to hear it that is. It would be a shame for so much effort to be put into it, if nobody but Hayley's comitted fans get to hear it, as was the case with Winter Magic.

But I think I got most of the part. Best wishes. Maya.

Hi,
Just had a chance to listen to that interview. Hmm... I sort of thought it sounded a bit awkward... like the interviewer was asking Hayley all these questions that probably weren't going to generate positive answers. Then she was cut off just after she got to the really interesting bit about touring China!
Oh well. Though I'm glad to hear that the new album is the focus. Can't wait for that!
