Hi Dean, Paulo and everyone Are you having trouble concentrating on editing the last photos? Sort of! I'm still only two thirds of the way through Saturday's pictures, although I've pretty much worked out what's going up on the forum. I'm saving the best until last i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThis is it for tonight! Best wishes Grant

Wow and Wow! I just had a chance to watch 'Danny' and 'Songbird' and I'm so impressed! Maybe it's that these are the best quality videos we've had for a while, but it seems that Hayley's getting better and better. It feels as though her performances are much more emotional. Her performance of Danny Boy was very expressive and moving. There isn't a live version of Danny Boy on You Tube.....

Hello everyone As has already been mentioned, Drew arrived on Saturday with a box of carefully packed Hayley Westenra Rose buttonholes. During the signing 'photoshoot', mine became detached from my jacket and I tried to temporarily lodge it in my shirt breast pocket. Sadly, it would not remain there, and after picking it up a couple of times, the bloom came away from the stem and I placed it carefully on the corner of Hayley's table. With all the regular audience gone, Hayley was left with us HWIers, members of the Salvation Army, the band and a few staff. Hayley had spotted the rose so I picked it up and handed it to her - apologising for breaking it! As is often the case when Hayley is alone with 'friends' she has been known to let her hair down. These last pictures from me show what happened next ....... Hayley: "Gosh! I'm holding a rose named after little ol' me, better look serious and respectful""Maybe I should just look at the camera?""Guess one of my sweet smiles wouldn't hurt""What the heck! Time for some fun Yay!!"Thank you Hayley, you really are a star! Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, Thanks for the photos which tell the story of Drew's roses, but hang on a minute, stop the music! Drew lives further north than me and therefore his growing-flowering season should be slightly behind mine. So how come his roses were in full bloom last Saturday when mine are still only in bud. This shot was taken just a few minutes ago (in the rain): Hayley Westenra rose What are you feeding them on, Drew? Marmite sandwiches or something? Oh well, at least my blooms stay on the stem! Roger
