I'm sure it's just the way the mail is dispatched. With all of the severe storms and snow up and down the Mississippi River, mail delivery is bound to be delayed nationwide by two or three days.

I work in mail order and I see these patterns.

I suspect those CDs are actually made somewhere in the UK or the EU.

So they can just slap Marbecks' name on the package and ship them straight to the buyer instead of shipping them to NZ and then back again to the UK.

I just got a notice today from Marbecks that my order shipped out on April 15 (which would have been the 14th for me). I didn't think retailers were allowed to release merchandise before the release date - for example I work at Barnes&Noble and when there's a book that has a specific release date we're not allowed to sell or display the actual items before that date hits.....but hey, I'm NOT complaining, lol.

Edit: You're allowed to sell the items before the release date (preorders) but you can't ship it out until that date hits.

I didn't get it today, of course. If the charge just appeared yesterday, does that mean they didn't ship it till then? I'm wondering why others in the U.S. got notices today, but I haven't gotten anything.

My card was charged on the 15th but I have not received a notice either ( or a cd). I'm kinda' bummed.

Hopefully, I'll be better soon.

Maybe those who have the cd, can tell us where the cd was made....normally you can find it on the backinsert.....
Cd manufactured/made in....
All my NZ releases of Hayley's cd, were made in New Zealand...

Hello everyone,

I have it!

Have been playing it all afternoon as background to everything I've done, I love it because... I liked it on first hearing and now i like it even more!

Meanwhile, due to the tiny printing, way the booklet is printed and the colours and contrast used, it's been a tough job to scan the two credits pages, which I don't think have yet been posted. In the end, I had to take the booklet outside into the garden and stand on a chair to take photos of it on the ground, with my digital camera and a telephoto lens! [image]

I also had to mess about with the contrast, colours etc to make it as clear as possible, anyway, here are the results.

Hello Dave and everyone!

My copy arrived today to!!!!!

It was waiting for me when I got home this afternoon. Unfortunately I'm out tonight and again tomorrow so I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow evening before I have enough time to sit, relax and do "Paradiso" justice.

Sounds like I'm gonna need to have a box of tissues handy too.
