I just saw today on Hayley's official website that the CD in the US is going to be called "Celtic Treasure"- I wonder why they would title the US version differently? -Elizabeth

Elizabeth, the title "Celtic Treasure" makes perfect marketing sense for the US region because of her ongoing association with "Celtic Woman."

Hi Elizabeth and thanks for that information.
My guess is that it's to capitalize on Hayley's participation in part of the Celtic Woman US tour and no doubt the US release will coincide with that. Also, I'd expect to see prominence given to Hayley's Irish grandparents in the press releases... to broaden Hayley's appeal for "Irish Americans"!
On a cautionary note, I hope they don't overdo the Celtic/Irish thing as the sheer variety of Hayley's music is one of her main attractions and if they do, Hayley will start to lose some of her existing fanbase, those who aren't much into that kind of music. But as Celtic doesn't seem to sell well outside of North America and Ireland, this is probably just something for the US release.
Cheers, Dave
PS I've now started a "Celtic Treasure" thread for further discussion of the US release!

Hayley's so tolerant, it could be a chimpanzee at London Zoo cuddling her, but see signature

Perhaps there is a different track listing, more harmonies with Celtic Woman and also latching on to her current US Tour. Sounds very logical to me. Good piece of promotion. More interestingly, if my first suggestion is right, then I want the US version as well as the UK one! Now that's marketing! Peter S.
