Hey guys, Boring Saturday afternoon so I was doing some music chart research (instead of the work I should have been doing! lol). While top 10 would be great, I'm actually thinking anywhere in the top 20 or so is more likely. Going back to Laura Wright, her album was at one point #12 in midweeks as well but ended dropping into the twenties by the final chart. I know Paradiso is in the supermarkets but it sounds like there hasn't really been promotion on heavy music buying days at the end of the week...which may be reflective of its slip to 18 on amazon and off the itunes album chart. But really anywhere in the top 20 or so isn't bad especially given all the new releases this week!

So where did it end up, Richard?
I was looking through some storage and had the car radio playing listening out for it but now I know why i missed Hayley but they have changed things since I last heard the top ten through and they did not list the actual top ten sequence.

Hello Peter! As I said in my previous post, 'River Of Dreams' went up to No.19 in this week's Classic FM Chart. There's not much point in listening to the show because Mark Forrest stopped giving the countdown a couple of months ago. The only way to see the full chart now is online: www.classicfm.co.uk/on-air/programmes/official-classic-fm-chart/weeks-top-40-3-september/I'm hoping Paradiso qualifies for next Saturday's chart. In case you're puzzled, Classic FM's Saturday chart is based on the official charts published the previous Sunday. Richard

Yes Richard and I'm hoping Joe McElderry doesn't qualify for the Classical Chart so "Paradiso" will go straight in at No.1 !!

Hi Jeff, He doesn't i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif so it will (if it qualifies, if you see what I mean, and I think it will.) But the best way to judge its success will of course be its pop chart performance - not only this week, but over the next month (the Rugby World Cup should help a bit). Cheers, Dave

Hi everyone, I have just noticed (belatedly!) that Paradiso has entered the official Irish album chart (out on Friday) at no. 66. It has entered the official Irish Classical chart at no. 1
Well done Hayley - and our Irish members! Cheers, Dave

Thank you Richard.
I never did understand these things. That was a vey helpful explanation.
Needless to say I was panicking! Especially with a Bank Holiday. As many shops are 7/7/ and more people are in spending mood, does that help, hinder, or not make any difference?

Yay!! And not only that, she beat Laura Wright by 2 spots. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifWhy don't they have an image of her album, like they do for everybody else? And they did last time I saw the chart?
