I must say, though, that I think I'll die if there is no media coverage of it whatsoever, because I NEED to see her in her dress, with Arnaud, etc. And I would dearly love to see Sophie as bridesmaid (who else would it be?) and Mr. Westenra walking her down the aisle. Yeah, I'll be devastated if we can't see any of this, just devastated! The only celebrity wedding I will ever get this excited about.
I hope Hayley does not invite the media, never reveals the location, keeps it strictly to family and close personal friends, and declares the whole subject off-limits for subsequent interviews. I also hope she tapers off meeting fans.

Do you practice being mean and nasty or does it come naturally!
Neither, I just think this is a bridge too far for the fans, certain of whom I think need to start letting go. This is where the line in the sand needs to be drawn - something you should know all about.

My goodness. Not only are you a party pooper, but an absolute scrooge.
I'm sure you would have loved it in WA DC if Hayley had decided not to have her pic taken with you. If you don't think she should do it, why did you participate in it? Maybe people who don't want to discuss it should stop discussing it with us, and stop making it seem like we're doing something wrong for thinking about Hayley's wedding.
Okay, enough of that.
I'm still trying to imagine Hayley in different styles of wedding dress, trying to think what type of style would suit her best. But she'll look amazing in any dress she chooses.

I've been called a lot worse, but I think it's time to defuse this, not escalate it.
Taking a deep breath and trying to articulate this intelligently rather than behaving like a curmudgeon, I happen to believe that the wedding is "a bridge too far" for public discussion due to the intensely personal nature of the occasion and the decisions connected with it. I also happen to believe this should mark a watershed in Hayley's relationship with her fans. Up till now she's been patient and accomodating with her time. I believe all that changes once a husband is in the picture. These are my beliefs only, of course, if you don't agree, that's fine.
I think that I've found the designer for Hayley's dress she wore to the 'Fashion is Art' Launch on 11 July 2007.
It is from the Temperley Spring / Summer 2005 collection. The catwalk photo is slightly different from Hayley's dress -- but it likely that it was modified slighlty when it was shortened. There's a grey dress in the same collection that seems quite similar (from what you can see peeking out of the bottom of the jacket).
I also have my suspicions that this dress is also a Spring/Summer 2005 Temperley dress, as there's a few in the collection that look quite a bit like it (but in different colours)
It's always so nice when old mysteries get solved!
[quote author=jillian board=Miscellaneous thread=4661 post=94033 time=1243035609]Now, I've just come across a bit of a mystery. I was reading the thread for Hayley at the Chichester Festivities in 2007. Dave posted photos of a dress which looks very much like Hayley's sleeved and diamante black dress, but in white. Can anyone help me out here?
This is the white dress that I was wondering about in my post above! It's great that Hayley's given it a new airing, as it is such a pretty dress!
It is by Temperley London and it's the white version of this dress:
I think that I've found the designer for Hayley's new black dress. I'm rather convinced that it's another 'Temperley London' piece.
The reason I think this is that an identical dress (except for the colour) is being sold on Ebay. It's described as a 'Temperely London, Spring/Summer 2010 'Verona' dress.
If you look at the pleating, it's all exactly the same.
