Hmm, another appearance, or just a re-run of the one we've just seen? Good either way, though!

Hello folks! According to the BBC's website, this edition of Songs of Praise was also recorded at Salisbury Cathedral, but it definitely isn't a repeat. It will be broadcast on BBC One next Sunday, 9th October 2011 at 5:25pm. More information: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0161pxjThere's a short preview clip here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00ktzbdRichard

Hi Richard, Simba and everyone, Yes there is a short (silent) clip of Hayley singing in the same dress and in the same spot as our July/August video when she performed Whispers In A Dream www.hayley-westenra-international.com/content/hayley-songs-praiseBut I cannot match any of the clip exactly to any part of the earlier video, so it is probably either a re-edit of the original broadcast, or (hopefully) a second song that Hayley pre-recorded. My guess is that they created two programmes out of one visit to Salisbury, and that this is the second, so hopefully Hayley will sing (or "perform" ) something a) different from Whispers, and b) not one of her "regulars". I live in hope! Cheers, Dave

Hi Dave I would have thought that Hayely is performing a hymn, perhaps "Amazing Grace" (although Andrea Bocelli sang that last night on Songs of Praise). Can anyone lip read?? Cheers Martin

Cheers Martin Hi Martin and everyone I can lipread to be honest it's how I'm getting by with understanding most people at the moment being completely deaf in one earas opposed to my usual 31% hearing loss and and unable to talk properly as I can't swallow at the moment University is certainly challenging at the moment and we've only just started!!- sorry, back on topic --- I've watched this clip and I believe Hayley's singing the line 'saved a wretch like me' from Amazing Grace best wishes Sing

Many thanks Sing. I wish the Songs of Praise producers would ask Hayley to sing a hymn other than Amazing Grace since this isn't the first time. Martin

I have great hopes for Majesty,
Could be bigger than Amazing Grace, If Hayley were the first to sing in on Songs of Praise, It would be a landmark step for Hayley and a song of praise that I believe is superior to Amazing Grace by far.
Still working on getting Majesty played on Irish stations, I can feel a door beginning to give, "Knock and it shall be opened to you"

I know, Whispers in a dream and Amazing grace being repeatedly performed is getting a little boring XD, but Whispers in a dream I agree helps to advertise...but Amazing Grace....XD? I think it sung at special occassions such as the CCh service and such is more appreciatable I guess (even though hayley always delivers an emotionally striking and perfect performance

Didnt record it but it was Amazing Grace-again! It was a short white dress which I have seen before. It looked as though the BBC recorded 2 at the same time and this was the 2nd ron
