Hayley was interviewed by telephone for Cuillin FM this morning. In time, the interview might appear at www.cuillinfm.co.uk/interviews.phpBut looking at that, there is already an interview on the list dating from 2009, where Hayley was interviewed by Nick Wakeham about another new album "Winter Magic". I hadn't heard that one before, and it is a good interview. Nick seems to have done his homework very thoroughly, and I though one or two of the questions were not expected by Hayley. It is well worth listening to while we wait for this morning's interview to be posted. Martin D

Hi Martin and everyone Just listened to the excellent 2009 interview and, as you say, Nick certainly did his homework. Of course, it was in the days before Hayley kept us up to date on Twitter - otherwise we would have learnt a little secret about what she would be singing on the Cathedrals Tour that year Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant,
Of course you and I both remember seeing her practicing that song repeatedly during the sound check for the first of those concerts. I couldn't hear anything wrong with it, but it seems Hayley wasn't satisfied. She is such a perfectionist!

What was the song? I didn't catch it, and it didn't look like you could rewind it. Hayley was so quiet, but the interviewer was loud, so I kept turning it up and down. Just when Hayley spoke, of course I had trouble hearing it. Plus the dishwasher and washing machine were both on at the same time, so that didn't help.

Hi Libby,
I think I'll be mysterious and Hayleylike, although I'm sure you will know. It was the song on the WM tour (and album) on which Hayley accompanied herself.
Not a good idea to have noisy distractions whilst trying to listen to Hayley.

Sorry, I haven't listened to the album in a while, and my brain is tired from not having a day off in 7 days, and I still have 2 more days to go. I really can't think of it right now. Can't you just tell me?

Oh, I thought you meant where she accompanied herself with her voice. So I automatically thought of Carol of the Bells, where she does her own backing vocals, but then I knew she didn't sing that at any of her concerts, so that's why I was confused. Aside from the fact I haven't had a day off in ages! Can you really blame me? And, so where's the interview, anyway?

So, we don't get to hear the interview? Is that my punishment for not guessing because I was dead tired?

I'm still keeping an eye on it Libby. But it doesn't look good, I would have expected it to appear by now!
