Hayley is scheduled to appear as a guest on this afternoon show on ITV at 3.00pm Tuesday 31st August. Dave will record the appearance and make it available on HWI. No other details are available at present.

Thank you Gordon, Grant, Martin and anybody else in the chain! I don't wish to cast any unnecessary doubt but, according to tvguide.co.uk (that links to Tuesday's page), the guest on Tuesday is Joshua Radin (whoever he is!). Hayley's name does not (yet) appear. According to my friend she only sings part of the song and she is not interviewed during the show.

Thanks for that - sounds like she demonstrated how the song should be sung then the contestant/s get to have a go for Hayley to judge.

Best wishes Grant Hi Grant and everyone, It's starting to look like this should make an interesting video, different from the usual ones but I hope Hayley sings for at least a minute. Should I try to include Hayley followed by the two competitors, to place it in context? If so, editing it down to a suitably short and snappy video (without any unnecessary studio chat) may prove to be an interesting challenge!  Cheers, Dave |

Cheers, Dave For my money Dave, I would say "yes". We don't know what Hayley is going to sing, but I think it will be an interesting comparison between professional and, I assume, amateur and then to hear what Hayley says about it.
