Curiosity got the best of me so I looked back to see where I remembered the dresses from. The blue one is the same one Hayley used during her NZ tour. The red one was used during her spring tour in the UK (I specifically spotted it in the Southend Cliffs Pavilion thread.)

thanks for the dress report Kate! I think you had the best seat in the house, front row, RIGHT in front of Hayley! (row "f" was first.....extended stage)
It was a great evening inspite of the withering heat (outside..... symphony hall was fine), we didn't meet up with Hayley until midnite because of the tape redo's. Hayley was sweet and engaging as ever despite the late hour, signing things and picture posing with all.
PAIGE, I told Hayley you (akalizzydarcy) were in attendance but had to catch the subway because it WAS late, she remembered your tweets and was sorry she missed meeting you.
Nice to meet JACK and CINDY long time fans who got to say HELLO to Hayley for the first
I have a few pictures, working on it (none from the show...NO CAMERAS..will have to catch the PBS show, when it airs)...Timj

Yay, so she wore one of the dresses I was hoping for, the red one! The blue one is just fine, too, of course. Her hair looks very nice, too. I'm very encouraged by your comments about the audience attendance, Katie, as far as the TV airing is concerned. And I'm glad most of you got to meet Hayley! It's so nice to see some American fans waiting in line to meet Hayley for once!!
I'm with you, Comet. If I had a chance to meet Hayley, I would take it! Of course, I would've been staying in town, though, if I had been there, so midnight wouldn't have been that bad for me. I don't usually go to bed till almost 1am, unless I have to get up really early.
Hayley's so tolerant, it could be a chimpanzee at London Zoo cuddling her, but see signature

Any chance someone could tape the show perhaps directly to disc as its aPBS broadcast but they may still put a code on that won't allow duping the disc.
Recently engaged in a private exchange with Paul on merits of this and while I don't encourage, its a balance of whether some sort of rights are paid and PBS is public subscription. Only the Hayley bits, of course.
Paige I would have slept in a dumpster rather than missed meeting Hayley.
I am just watching the "Guest" number rising in the Info Centre"
Hello Guests and Lurkers EVERYWHERE
hard to believe it is only a week since Hayley was here in Dublin, I still haven't recovered fully, still slightly dazed and humming Morricone
Here I may have got myself muddled with Paige and someone who had replaced Hayley in Celtic Women and worn her dress and I thought had wanted to meet Hayley at this concert, which post I now cannot find. Nonetheless, the principle/purpose of my post remains.
When you are really part of the proceedings--a fellow artiste in the same mould, or see the person on a fairly regular basis, they become 'simply' a part of your life. I have had regular experiences where people I am with have suddenly been stopped by a fan anxious for a signature or simply to say 'hi!' and while I respect their standing in that person's eyes, to me they are either part of the event in which I am involved or family and in those contexts one gains a completely different perspective. Yet even with that background I am still dazed by Hayley and it was a desire to meet Hayley that made me wait outside a stage door for the first time in my life, despite the fact that between 10 and 30 I spent a lot of time in diverse roles (back stage and on stage) in semi-pro theatre, using the stage door myself either as an artiste or part of management.
It is an extraordinary double life, like living the experience twice, simultaneously as part of the whole and yet being apart from the whole, aware of one's personal relationship but suddenly being reminded that one is singularly privileged to have that relationship and that the person one is with is indeed someone special and not to be taken for granted.
This does not just apply to artistes but to anyone of eminence. I have been privileged to work with (in a very supportive role) several persons of Nobel Laureate status in science and as with Hayley, there is a presence about them that creates awe of them within oneself, not a sense in any way created by them. It is both a humbling experience and yet also a very exciting and stimulating one.
So I can understand the seeming contradiction, that you would sleep the night in a dumpster and Paige catching her train. I considered wandering the London streets for the night and missing my train my first opportunity to meet Hayley but I plead age in not being that enthusiastic and met her later!
I am still invigorated from my Dublin meeting with her. I might also add that the fellowship of fellow HWIers heightens the evening, especially if we should not have as fulsome a time with Hayley as she is sometimes able to allow us.

Sounds like the concert went well. The Facebook photos were great. Looks like a standing ovation at the end of the concert and Hayley looked like she enjoyed herself.

Peter, the show will probably air as part of a membership drive, a 3 or 4 time a year occasion lately, DVD's of the show (with deleted portions included!!!!) are offered as a gift for a subscription, I'll watch the schedule as best I can...
I wasn't at Buxton ever but we attended the Stoke-on-Trent concert and another 1 or 2 that escape my poor memory,......I'll check later....TimJ
