The National Symphony Orchestra? That's the one from WA DC, who perform at the PBS Capitol performances, aren't they? What is the Diamond Jubilee, exactly?

Thanks for finding this, Jillian! I'll post a link to this thread on our Facebook page. Libby, this is probably the National Symphony Orchestra of London. We believe they will be accompanying Hayley on her UK tour. www.nso.co.ukRichard

Spent many happy weeks, if not months in Guernsey, working on a control system for the electricity grid, back in the 1980s. I thnik i walked most of the coastline. It's a lovely island. I'm sure this will be a fantastic show.

Oh, I was wondering why our national orchestra would go, but since Hayley has performed with them before, I thought it was possible. Really, they're going with her on the Paradiso tour? That's great! Now, if only she would tour the US and have OUR national orchestra tour with her...

Oh, so this isn't the main concert. It's just a concert as "part" of the celebrations. The main one is at Buckingham Palace of course, on June 4th. It doesn't list Hayley as one of the performers there, but it does say more people will be announced. But is there any chance she'll perform at more than one celebration? Will the Queen even be at this one? But guess what, looks like William & Kate will be visiting New Zealand at some point: "Overseas visits by Members of the Royal Family Members of the Royal Family will travel overseas representing The Queen throughout the Diamond Jubilee year, visiting every Realm as well as undertaking visits to Commonwealth countries, Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories. Her Majesty has asked that these visits include the following: The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea " www.thediamondjubilee.org/uk-and-overseas-visits

Hi Libby, It's the NSO Chamber Orchestra, not the full orchestra. Hopefully a large ensemble rather than a small one. Dave

That's Charles and Camilla. But you can catch William and Kate in Malaysia, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu. and maybe even Charles and Camilla again in Guernsey: Paddy

I would love, love, love, to go to this! I've always wanted to see Guernsey and the Chanel Islands! A pity that Australia is just sooo far away!
